Banging is only way I can describe this. Food is great staff are great just popped in her on the off chance not disappointed. Give a visit well worth it.

First time here last week and was pleasantly surprised. Always looks too busy for me when I go past but at lunchtime its very quiet which is good for me. Food was lovely, portion size was just enough for my partner but too much for me lol. The staff were very nice and polite. Will definitely go back again.

Left this pub about an hour ago. It was my third time here and I have to say it's been excellent every time. The food is excellent, the beer is good and the service is exceptional. It's the only pub where I've always given the staff a drink at the end. I really can't understand the poor rating on Google for this pub, it's one of my favourites đź‘Ť

Had Sunday lunch here on our way through. The food was lovely. Hubby had fish and chips and said it was wonderful (cleaned his plate) I had a lamb Sunday roast and it was delicious. The children's food went down well with my daughter and she loved her dessert. Nice clean pub with friendly staff who where happy to help. Will

Just been to the George and had the best night! Royann gave us the best service, even though it was busy she came and visited our table and made sure we had everything we need. Wouldn’t often review a night at the pub but honestly you don’t often meet such a lovely soul! Will definitely be back :)

Food and service were amazing. The flat iron steak was one of the best steaks I have had, would highly recommend. The katsu chicken burger was also excellent. The team were really welcoming and friendly.

Comfortable pub/restaurant with excellent pub food. I would have preferred they paid more attention to their online ordering system so I didnt have to go up and tell them I'd ordered a drink, but that's just my antisocial nature as their staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating.
