Good food and good staff and fair prices. Atmosphere is nice and staff very attentive
my steak and curly fries were beautiful nice size venue for a double bubble birthday like today the stock family and friends enjoyed every minute the pool table works well too.

Always love going to this pub for food one of the best in the area servings beautiful burgers and pub grub, last time I had booked a table for valentine's day but on arriving was told we have be quick as they shutting the kitchen as they been busy and over ran but restaurant was empty only few tables taken, but they still took our order. Ordered the mega mix grill didn't wait to long for our food and the meal was lovely expeshly the chicken, didn't like the stake to much as wasn't cooked to what I asked for and was bit chewy to what normally is. Staff are friendly with service at the bar and the pub is clean and homely with plenty of seating. Prices are reasonable costing around £10-£15 a person.
Having eaten out lots this summer holidays (I am a teacher and mum), I was so impressed how lovely this place was, and in comparison to the many other places I have been, this was my favourite. It is therefore worthy of a review. Having not been here before, I booked a table for 9. When I arrived, the table was already clearly labelled and reserved. This was a great start. I was then served by Shania who was polite, welcoming and patient whilst we all did our separate orders. Our food was then brought out by Jess, who despite having lots of plates to bring out to our large party, was smiley, understanding at the different requests we were asking for and nothing seemed too much trouble. She had a really warm manner and again, this has not been my experience in other similar establishments. We will definitely be returning. Food was nice, great range of choice and very reasonable. The cooks I was informed were called Amy and Anita. Well done Traveller’s Home.
What a delight of nachos and chicken without bones... Crispy, with flavor and most importantly the food arrived hot, it is my first order if I had known that this is so divine I would order the larger size of each one... I recommend it Really... If you have a craving for a snack, order here!!! The dispatcher arrived on time and very kind! Thank you 😊

Can't fault this pub and can't wait for our next family occasion here.
Food, Atmosphere, drink and service was excellent. My only criticism is the tables are close together, my thoughts were if someone was in a wheelchair it would be tricky without disruption to seat that person. So maybe remove a couple of tables to accommodate. When people went passed my table I was nudged numerous times.
On a Saturday night, kids should NOT be running around a pub dining area screaming & treating it like a personal play ground.. the adults were shouting with thd kids & chasing them around as well in play... Couldn't have a decent conversation with the disturbance & the management shoukd have stepped in & quietened them down... no excuse for that behaviour & it spoilt the evening. As a result its put myself & others off from frequenting a pub that has in the past provided good food & service..
Been here before been ok. Please look at photos and tell me what's wrong plussteak was bit tough. Not up to their usual standard. Disappointing
Randomly decided to land on the Travellers Home after a quick search on Google maps for breakfast located near the job site. Small but empty free car park. We recieved a friendly welcome the moment we set foot inside the main bar area. Menu's offered and instructed to order at the bar when ready, short wait for breakfast to arrive.

I can be very particular when it comes to how my eggs are cooked and bacon so when my full English on a hot skillet arrives in what felt like no time at all i was pleasantly surprised and also intrigued at how black the two sausages appeared to be however due to the massive thickness it was clear the out side was not to be used to pass judgment. Unbelievable but delicious. Good size with unlimited filter coffee or tea. I recommend a visit.

Booked the function area for my son 16th birthday, food was brilliant, tasted amazing. Staff was friendly and very polite and helpful. Was able to decorate bring in balloons and banners. Had access to the garden area and pool table. Had a really good night at the travellers home. Will defernatly be coming back.
My uncle is in a large electric wheelchair, I read online that the pub was wheelchair friendly, so we gave it a try. We were meet by Jess who went above and beyond to find the correct table for us to be seated at (table style and height an issue usually) we changed tables a couple of times, Jess made no fuss and moved our cutlery and ensured we were comfortable. She explained the menu and showed us the back access, which she thought might be easier for us. She is a credit to the team.
The food was fresh, well cooked and tasty.
We have unfortunately had many bad experience, where we have been not to feel welcome and felt a total inconvenience.
Im glad to say Jess and other staff made our trip a pleasure, we will definitely be returning. Such a pleasent change.
As always the staff, food and drink and atmosphere were brilliant. Such a friend,y and welcoming ambience whatever time of day we have visited.
Staff are always lovely when I come in the restaurant and the food is always top notch, especially the chilli con carne. Can’t wait to come back again and receive the wonderful service me and my family do. The general manager and assistant manager always smiling and going the extra mile :)
Fantastic pub with very friendly staff who can’t do enough for you and make you feel welcome every time, have also tried many different things on the menu and all have been excellent.
