We've eaten in lots of spoons, but this one was great. The staff we also really friendly and our meals were pretty tasty. There's the normal great spoons menu with something for everyone.

It was a witherspoon meal, the service was as expected, atmosphere as expected, the fish and chips were excellent better than expected. Would visit again when a quick and simple meal needed 😌

This is our favourite local pub! The prices are good, the staff friendly and most times the pub feels like a great community get together. We love to come here for breakfast (muffin deals are our favourite) and club lunches when there is a special promotion going every day. The coffee refills are handy for when we gather for longer stays. And there is beer festival going every October so great tasting opportunity!

Really local pub for local people. Friendly atmosphere, good and quick service, very reasonable prices for cask ales. No complaints at all.

I have to admit that I am not a fan of Weatherspoons and only dropped in here as another eatery was fully booked. My friend and I ordered breakfast - he a full English and I the full vege. It was 9am on a Saturday. This is the second time I’ve eaten at a Weatherspoons in my lifetime and on both occasions the Quorn sausages are somehow weird. I have no idea how they cook for damn things, but there you go. Apart from that the food was ok. I was starving and it filled a hole, as they say. The black coffee was bland. However the main saving grace was the price. Mine was an incredible £4.99!!! Kids even get to eat free. For those on a low budget, it’s great. I would definitely go back for a cheap nosh up. The service was efficient and the food didn’t take too long even though it was fairly busy. As for the type of atmosphere one expects in a cheap pub, well it’s a great place if you like people watching. I was really unimpressed by a family next to us who had brought their kid out with a cough that sounded like the plague, but apart from that, all good. Another thing I really liked was that there were size options with calories. Very helpful expect I still couldn’t help myself by double up the portion for only 50p oops.

Popped in for a couple of drinks on a Friday night after a meal out. Nice old building. Friendly staff. Good selection of non alcoholic drinks too. Decent beer garden also.

Always know what you’re going to get. Obviously being a Wetherspoon it’s not exactly gourmet but there is enough of a selection to always have something to enjoy for a good price. I like using the app as you don’t have to get up from the table, and there’s rarely any issues here.
