I’ve been to the Talbot several times over the last year for the monthly Pub quizzes they hold. The atmosphere is always great at the Talbot, as is the service from friendly, professional staff. Me and my friends have eaten here as well and the food is always top-notch, with a great menu, and the prices are very reasonable.
Overall, a great pub that I would highly recommend!

Lovely place! DOG FRIENDLY inside and out! Food was really very tasty. Don't have a huge selection of Gluten Free vegetarian dishes and there was possibly some confusion over whether the chips were Gluten Free. The staff were really friendly and tried their best to accommodate. Well worth a visit.

A great pub with a great atmosphere and tasty food. Our cycle group stopped off for a bite and I had the vegan Sunday roast that was delicious and a good sized serving. Nice beer garden outside in the sun and a place to leave the bikes without disturbing other diners. Staff friendly.
Would luv to see some more vegan options on the menu - including some vegan wraps!!

Lovely old fashioned country style inn beside Biddulph Grange. Warm welcome for walkers with muddy boots and dogs with muddy paws. There are dog bowls and treats freely available too. The pub has a lovely ambience and good coffee. Popped in today just to remind myself how good it is AND it really was!

Could not fault our first visit to the Talbot.
Great location and lots of seating outside for those sunny days.
Just up from Biddulph Grange and other local walks. The pub is dog friendly too so enjoy a nice meal or drink after a walk with your furry friend. There is a canine cuisine too 😁
Lots of parking available.
The food was really good for a reasonable price and the staff were really nice as well. We will be visiting again.

A nice little Vintage Inns chain pub. Dogs welcome in one section of the pub. Very nice food.
The baked camembert to share is delicious!

The food is ok, I ordered the penang curry with grilled chicken. The curry was marvellous but the grilled chicken was tasteless. The calamari for starters were really nice though. Service was ok, friendly but a bit slow
