Lovely non-commercial garden centre. Good coffee and homemade cakes. Lots to see and do. Dogs welcome inside and in conservatory part of the cafe.

I always get slightly wary when a restaurant is part of a garden centre, but we booked in for the Sunday Carvery. The garden centre staff were very friendly and wheelchair friendly layouts helped a lot. The restaurant staff were also very helpful and assisted us getting the carvery to our table saving me a few trips with plates and pushing a wheelchair. The roast dinner was lovely and we returned on the Monday morning for breakfast, which was also good.

My friend and I were staying at a cottage in a nearby village and decided to try Merry Harriers for a look at the gift shop and some lunch. What a pleasant surprise we found. The shop just goes on and on, divided in sections, and way more than anyone would expect at a garden center! Lunch was delicious and reasonably priced, too. If you're in the area, definitely stop in here to while away some time. I can only imagine what a walk around the grounds would be like; I'm sure it's absolutely brilliant!

Our first roast Sunday lunch after the schools went back. As always, staff and food were lovely. Plenty to look at indoors and the plants (large outside area) are very healthy & reasonably priced. Well worth a couple of hours. Oh . . .dogs are welcome in the Garden Centre & in designated areas of the café. Outside seating available if weather is suitable

Nice little garden centre in properly rural North Devon. Good selection of goods and really well laid out and clean. Both the shop and the restaurant are dog friendly, which is really refreshing as less places accommodate dogs nowadays. We ate at the restaurant and it was a pleasant enough atmosphere, clean, and nice decor. The food was OK, nothing special, and to be honest a little overpriced for what you got. Overall, it's a decent place with quite a bit packed in, but I don't think I would make a point of eating there again

We were driving along looking for somewhere to have lunch and were so glad we came across the Merry Harriers Garden Centre and cafe. I had the best cheese ploughman's I've ever had and my husband had roast beef which he said tasted delicious. The staff were very friendly too.

Lovely garden centre with a variety of kids toys, pets toys, food, drinks, garden accessories, plants and clothes. There is a cafe within the garden centre with seating outside and a small playground for kids up to the age of 10 with a slide and a swing. The garden centre was clean and tidy with well looked after toilet facilities very friendly and helpful staff. The Gnome Reserve and Wildflower Garden trail is fun for all ages with over 250 gnomes with lots of them hiding to spot along the way. Dogs are welcome too :-) well worth a visit!
