Le Petit Monde

Went in July with a group for a 40th WA. It was excellent. I had fish which was really nice. Quite simple without too many flavours all trying to grab one's attention. The couple running the place were very amiable and seemed to know what a good meal and good service looks like. Exceptionally good evening was had by all. Thanks.

What a fantastic little spot! Adorable interior and incredible food! I love a place that has a small menu and each dish is done well. We loved the gambas starter so much that we ordered extra for with the main dish. Sole and risotto both were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Desserts, chocolate mouse and crème brûlée, were the cherry on top! Simple but oh sooooo good! You could tell the place was run with love and kindness - a couple, two genuine people running the place. Must visit ! (also I normally find restaurants for dinner on the Michelin guide app, how is this place not on there?! Should be on the top of your list).

We fell on this superb little place by chance after a long journey to North Devon . The food was superb and well presented . The service was excellent and friendly . I would say ‘ A Little Gem’ well worth a visit . We met some really lovely people whilst we were there and had such a lovely evening. It was super dog friendly and the waitress was so helpful and friendly. Thank you for such a lovely evening.

Went here February 14th with my partner. He has been non stop going on about not being able to find somewhere to get fresh oysters. While we were on holiday in Devon, I google the best place to find fresh seafood for him. Well, what a fantastic place I found!! The welcome we received was absolutely amazing, couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Her husband, the chief came out to meet us aswell, they were both attentive and constantly made sure we were ok, and we were happy. I don't personally like fish, so chose the chicken skewers for starters, and steak for my main course, which I have to say, that steak and sauce was the best I've ever had! Cooked to perfection, just melted in my mouth..my partner couldn't decide what starter to have, so orders all of them as a main course. But stayed away from the snails 🐌 ( x 2 on the oysters though, he loved them) . I would like to wish them the best of luck , such a lovely couple. Can't wait to go back, we would be there eating all the time if we lived closer .
