Nice traditional style pub on the riverside. We didn't eat so I have ignored that question. Reasonable choice of beers and ciders and reasonably priced. Lost one star as the lager glass I was given with my drink in had lipstick all around the rim. Can't beat proper hand washing for glasses, the m
It was totally empty but it was Monday lunchtime and we'd been for a dress fitting. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. The food was delicious. We only had soup with chunky bread and butter, but it was nice to see proper bread and butter. We also had some chips to share but didn't mana

Nice pub. Good quality food, big portions and very good price. Recommended.
Extremely nice pub with good food at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
Superb location. Reasonable quality food. Bit pricey. Historical interest in tye building its history and the real working watermill. This place gets busy would book a week in advance.

Landlady is polite and give it that bit 'Extra' to make you welcome. The pub has a great vibe on entry and the staff make you aware that you have been noticed. It seems to be a mixture between a home from home village local one side and quirky and sporty the other. You'll be suprised how well both
