Nice traditional style pub on the riverside. We didn't eat so I have ignored that question. Reasonable choice of beers and ciders and reasonably priced. Lost one star as the lager glass I was given with my drink in had lipstick all around the rim. Can't beat proper hand washing for glasses, the machines are useless.

It was totally empty but it was Monday lunchtime and we'd been for a dress fitting. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. The food was delicious. We only had soup with chunky bread and butter, but it was nice to see proper bread and butter. We also had some chips to share but didn't manage to finish them. I would definitely go back for a full meal.
