Fantastic food! Good quality proper food. Hubby had steak pie - amazing and I had the chicken burger which was 100% chicken breast. Will definitely be back. Dog was welcome too!!

We visited from the north east while holidaying and we picked this pub based on reviews and that we could take our little dog, they were so accommodating to our group of 6 and the dog. The food was delicious and fresh. We went on a Sunday so we had a beef dinner and 1 of the group had scampi and chips. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The service was fantastic and such lovely friendly atmosphere. We really enjoyed it. We would go back most definitely and can recommend this place to others.

We have just had a meal with family here and it was outstanding. From the friendly staff, excellent service to the wonderful food. 2 of us had the 12oz fillet steaks, another had a 10oz ribeye, another had the chicken burger and the two kids had pizza. Everything was delicious. The steaks were the best we have ever had. I’m not joking. They were outstanding. Oh, and they have a dog friendly section so we were able to have our two dogs beside us.

Always like going to the Cross Keys, good food and service. Think the ceiling in the restaurant doesn't suit the rest of the decor. I think it would be better a lighter colour which goes with black and grey. But I do really like the place.

We called in here for lunch two days running. First day we were unsuccessful as Wednesday is the chef's day off. Thursday we went back. The only items available from the menu were burgers or steaks. We chose burgers, they were tasty and well presented. The accompanying chips weren't fantastic, a bit anaemic. Lovely friendly and helpful staff, dogs are welcome too thanks.

Thanks to the Patrons and Staff of the cross Keys in helping ourselves and other travelers at a time of unprecedented disruption due to flooding. We only had time for a cup of tea but will be returning when we can. Pleas note our five star review requires something above and beyond good service and is rarely given.
