Honestly the best roast dinner I have ever had! We shared the roast platter I definitely recommend, it's great value. The service was fab and friendly too. Must try the pate too!
Fantastic Sunday roast, followed by a fabulous pudding. Have visited many times and have never experienced a bad meal! Fantastic place and would highly recommend b
I have been here a few times, and it's a lovely pub/restaurant. Great atmosphere as always so busy. The food it delicious.
I would definitely recommend this place
We have been coming here for some time . To be fair the past year or so hasn’t been up to their normal standards. But our last two visits have been exceptionally good. The food has improved significantly as have the portions(this has been lacking in the past). I’m guessing there is a new chef and top marks👍. We had the signature burger and sea bass and could not fault. Prices a little on the high however this seems the norm and you pay for what you get. As always the staff here are very friendly and overall a good pub for either a drink or a meal.
Hands down the best Sunday roast, family/baby/children friendly pub lunch in the area! Ample parking, warm and cosy, ambience, clean and spacious washroom, friendly and helpful staff. Most importantly, well executed roast with trimmings and unlimited gravy. The choices for kids are outstanding, good quality and healthy. It’s our first visit, but you bet we will be back. Keep it up!
The Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Here is a picture of the Pie of the day (Chicken) which my daughter loved. My wife & I had the Lasagna which was lovely. Always very good food here.
We celebrated a birthday family meal which was delicious.
Nina and her colleagues made a fuss of my mother in law, making sure she was served first and making sure our meals were as we expected. The team brought out our cake and sang her happy birthday.
Food was yummy, pizza, seabass, rib eye and fish and chips. All well cooked, piping hot and flavoursome.
Would recommend 🙂
Well managed and popular. Far better that it was a few years ago. The food is good and appropriately priced. Staff are friendly and efficient. Although orders are taken quickly and efficiently the main course was just a little slow coming out. Overall whilst it's not outstanding it is a good place to eat and if you're nearby certainly worth a visit.
We pre-booked the Aperfield Inn for a wake for over 60 guests. The buffet food was plentiful and tasty and the staff were very helpful and had set up an area for us inside the pub. As the weather was good we had spilled out onto the comfortable patio.
We purchased drinks separately and there was no problem with waiting at the bar for drinks which were priced comparatively with the local pubs and restaurants.
All in all I was very pleased with the Inn and would use them again.
Clean, Cosey & friendly. Food is fantastic as is the service 🫶👌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I'm new to the area and this pub was recommended to me. The food was amazing and so was the service. The ribeye steak was delicious!
What a lovely and friendly restaurant, first time here, I been with my friend, she's a regular customer and she told me that she came to this restaurant since when was a teenager and she love it like I love it too. The food was outstanding, I had a lentil lasagne, absolutely delicious, for pudding I had cheesecake. The service was outstanding, we been served by Jemma, a young and kind lady. I'm happy to return. Such a lovely time I had with my friend.
