Biggles Fish And Chips

Very nice Kebabs! Spot on 👌🏻 Used twice - Chef Mix Kebab & Chicken Shish/Doner combo kebab - both absolutely perfect. The portion sizes were fantastic. The meats are all cooked just right regardless what time you arrive to collect, and taste lovely. The salad has been very fresh each time, no sogginess at all. The chilli sauce is just the right heat, not over powering with lots of flavour. The customer service is excellent, very polite and welcoming. I cannot fault what I have experienced so far. I'll be returning for the kebabs. We are going to try out the cod and chips next, once we do, I'll add to this review. *Only request I make to the gentleman owners is.. could other options like Chicken Doner & Kofte be considered part of the menu. Chicken Shish/Lamb and only Lamb Doner is fine, but I have no doubts your quality standard of the Chicken Doner and Koftes would also be excellent.

I've now tried three chippies in Biggleswade and although it's close between this one and Sheff, I've got to say MEFB just edges it. I ordered the Small Cod & Chips and I can say that it reminded me of my local Chippy in Sunderland. Lovely chips, not too crunchy, not too soggy. Firm. Golden brown. And the fish was excellent too. Nice crispy batter. Good tasting fish and the 'small' was fine for me. And I have a healthy appetite. We normally go to Sheffs cos it's nearer and the kids like other stuff from the menu (haloumi, sausage, etc) plus they have a buy online system setup but if I'm just pleasing myself I'll be coming here for my cod n Chips from now on.
