Billericay High Street, huge parking lot across the street behind Iceland or behind the next-door Waitrose. On the first floor (there is also a ground floor), there is a nice table. They inquire about my moderate nut allergy at the door, and there is a specific app with excellent allergy guidance. Excellent food quality; neither the appetizer nor the main course disappointed me. Also nice is wine. The smallest two scoops of ice cream I've ever seen were included in our desserts, which were all ice cream and cost £6.50 each. This has to be improved because there was only one strawberry as a garnish and no ornamental wafer or sauce. Stern was not welcoming, and service was a little slow. This restaurant is lovely. Although service was very swift and the food was fantastic, we didn't feel rushed, thus the atmosphere was pleasant. This isn't a location for a quiet supper because of the close proximity of the tables, but the general commotion of people having fun makes the environment pleasant.

Beautiful experience. The waiters and servers were really accommodating and attentive. Excellent and reasonably priced cuisine is served. Squid that was among the best I've recently eaten. there is wonderful music and ambiance as well. The upper level is beautiful. Additionally, the service is provided quickly.

My experience at Giggling Squid restaurant was an absolute delight. The culinary journey through Thai flavors was a treat for the senses. First, the Pad Kee Mao, also known as drunken noodles, was a burst of flavors. The wide rice noodles were perfectly cooked and sautéed with a delightful combination of vegetables and Thai basil. The heat from the chili peppers gave it a nice kick, making it a spicy lover's dream. Next, the Thai Red Curry with jasmine rice was a true highlight. The creamy, aromatic curry had just the right balance of spice and sweetness. The tender chunks of chicken (or tofu, depending on your preference) soaked up the rich flavors beautifully. Paired with fragrant jasmine rice, it was a match made in culinary heaven. Lastly, the Thai Pad Noodles were a delightful surprise. Stir-fried to perfection, the noodles were coated in a flavorful sauce and loaded with fresh vegetables. The choice of protein (I went with shrimp) was succulent and added a satisfying seafood element to the dish. The ambiance and service at Giggling Squid were also commendable, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Thai dining experience. I left with a happy belly and a newfound appreciation for Thai cuisine.
