Reids Restaurant

We visited with a party of 30 people in January for our delayed Christmas bash. Originally booked prior to Christmas but had to delay due to COVID, no issues with the rescheduling. The food and service was of a very high standard. The manager on duty that evening (Dan) was very helpful and organised a small area for us to have drinks after our meal just off the main bar. A great evening and I would recommend for larger parties.

My Grandparents and I had a fantastic lunch today - one in a wheelchair, and we couldn't praise the venue and staff enough. So friendly from the opening of the main door highlighting the disabled toilet for us, and opening all doors to walk us to our table. We had a lovely round table and was accommodated throughout. The staff were very friendly and of a high standard. After seeing the large portions coming out to other tables, we asked for a smaller portion for one of our party which was provided without an issue. Amazing value for money and we cannot fault. Thank you so much for a great lunch

We visited on a Monday night on a travel zoo voucher and was very pleased with the food and service. It was very quiet, only us and one other table. The decor is nice. And although a limited vegetarian choice. Two starters and one main choice. However It was very tasty. We had between us the spicy carrot soup, the beetroot carpacio and the cauliflower steak. I've never had cauliflower so nice and doubt I will again! The waitress was great too.

We celebrated a family members birthday in one of the function rooms, from start to finish it was a perfect evening . Drinks are quite pricey though but the bar staff worked there socks off! Atmosphere was charged with a totally party vibe . Really looking forward to returning there a great night was had by all!

27th April 2019. We had booked the function room with hot buffet, to celebrate baptism and first birthday. The whole process was excellent. All staff were pleasant, helpful and attended to our every need. Food arrived on time and was hot. It tasted lovely and we had many compliments from our guests how good it was. Would highly recommend Reids for your party, and intend to book our future events at Reids. Thank you very much for making a special occasion go so smoothly.

Great evening and food .... 3 courses for £29.95 pp on valentines night including amazing fillet steak... food quality was 5 star! Service great too although a little slow due to restaurant being really busy A good idea for Reids would be that the person seating u could offer u a drink to save u waiting more than 20 minutes for a server to come and get your drinks order and then wait some more... avoid dry mouth 😬⚘

Had the pleasure to be a guest at a 50th.wedding lunch. We arrived and were greeted and escorted to our host and that was the bench mark for the afternoon. There was no rush at all and the menu was extensive and the food was cooked perfectly. The lamb melted beautiful. Recommend for any occasion. Well done to everyone at Reid's.
