We visited on a Monday night on a travel zoo voucher and was very pleased with the food and service. It was very quiet, only us and one other table. The decor is nice. And although a limited vegetarian choice. Two starters and one main choice. However It was very tasty. We had between us the spicy carrot soup, the beetroot carpacio and the cauliflower steak. I've never had cauliflower so nice and doubt I will again! The waitress was great too.

Great evening and food .... 3 courses for £29.95 pp on valentines night including amazing fillet steak... food quality was 5 star! Service great too although a little slow due to restaurant being really busy A good idea for Reids would be that the person seating u could offer u a drink to save u waiting more than 20 minutes for a server to come and get your drinks order and then wait some more... avoid dry mouth 😬⚘

My Grandparents and I had a fantastic lunch today - one in a wheelchair, and we couldn't praise the venue and staff enough. So friendly from the opening of the main door highlighting the disabled toilet for us, and opening all doors to walk us to our table. We had a lovely round table and was accommodated throughout. The staff were very friendly and of a high standard. After seeing the large portions coming out to other tables, we asked for a smaller portion for one of our party which was provided without an issue. Amazing value for money and we cannot fault. Thank you so much for a great lunch

We visited with a party of 30 people in January for our delayed Christmas bash. Originally booked prior to Christmas but had to delay due to COVID, no issues with the rescheduling. The food and service was of a very high standard. The manager on duty that evening (Dan) was very helpful and organised a small area for us to have drinks after our meal just off the main bar. A great evening and I would recommend for larger parties.

Food was very good. Two separate visits and we were impressed. Burger was cooked to our liking, proper pink and soft as medium rare. Proper minced steak too! £5 cocktails are also a nice treat. Highly recommended.

Had my 60th Party at Reids, Function Room. Great service from initial booking to the end of the party. My guests loved the food and said what a lovely venue. Would highly recommend fir any functions.

Recently had my daughter's wedding here. Not impressed. Totally wrong menu served so many guests couldn't eat. Bar staff seem to make up the prices as they want. Wedding planning all wrong and as for the doorman in the evening, how rude he was when he wasn't playing with his mobile phone and the only smoking shelter available to us was in front of the fire exit. How bright is that.

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years and NEVER had any cause of complaint. In fact l have had excellent service and the best steaks that you could expect in any restaurant. The menus is very comprehensive and different from the usual. On top of all this the cost is very very competitive. In case you thought otherwise l have no connection with this establishment other than being a very satisfied customer.

We took family and friends for a tribute night with three course meal. Lovely meal, I had soup, steak and cheese and biscuits and enjoyed it all. Our friends enjoyed the salmon, great menu, reasonable prices and excellent service.
