Been working away and found this pub to be our local, Chris , Megan , Connor and Kirsty have been fantastic to us and we couldn’t recommend it more, fantastic food, fantastic service and all around great atmosphere

5 star! Great pub! Lovely selection of drinks. Food was fantastic! Well stuffed after the mixed grill! Chris was a really good host, and looked after us in the best way possible, even bringing us drinks to our table! Very attentive! Will definitely be going there again next time I'm up that way!

Found this place just by chance after terrible service at Tody carvery and have the say we were glad we did find it, staff were warm, welcoming and friendly, atmosphere was so peaceful and the food was amazing.... We will definitely be back

When my fat friend moved in over the road from here, he aged about 30 years in 2 weeks and nearly 3 months later we have made a atmosphere in the place and even got the regulars smiling and laughing, even bubbles the barman

Was in the other day for a meal and the service by the staff was amazing couldn’t thank Kirsty enough!! Will definitely be coming back, the food was gorgeous aswell 10/10

Dropped in a few times for beers and occasional meals. Decent range of beers ( found Bass on draft one time, which I thought had been discontinued). Meals? Jury still put on that one, bit greasy last time, but not as bad as one of theis chains other pubs in Boldon.

We visited this lovely quaint village pub for lunch and the experience was excellent from start to finish, Beautiful food , prompt professional service from all the staff, the premises are spotless and would recommend it to everyone,
The manager was so accommodating and all in all a great experience

Been here several times as its dog friendly and has a lovely beer garden! Food is all homemade and very good, I've had the odd mistake however staff have always rectified it as soon as they've noticed!
Really lovely little pub and worth a visit for food or a couple of pints!
