Food is nearly always good, with good portions. Any time we’ve had a problem the team have reached out and tried to fix it or compensate. Thoroughly recommend the hake and chips deal. Good value for money and tastes good or better than cod.
We stayed in a nearby village and after a quick online search we decided on the master fryer in billinghurst we ordered the cod and chips (x2) the shop itself was clean and the people working were very presentable. We ordered and paid online and on arrival there was an electronic board with all the orders status. When ordering online we were given a time for pick up and the food was ready for pick up on time! The food was was great, nice cod fillets, crispy (not soggy) batter and clean oil fried chips 😊 would definitely recommend. Keep up the good work 👍🏼
Food reasonably priced and tasty; decent portions.
Also wrapped and boxed well so it doesn't get soggy on the way home.
Staff pleasant and helpful and shop is bright and clean.
On the negative side, there was nowhere on the app to order and pay on collection (which I do understand), but it makes it difficult for people wanting to pay cash.
Also, the parking is a bit of a nightmare. You have to pay to park up for a few minutes just to collect your order; there is no free pick up parking at all.
The parking ticket said something about getting a refund of the fee from the retailers, but this wasn't offered by the fish and chip shop.
Unfortunately, the difficulty in parking means I probably won't be using the shop again in a hurry, which is a shame, because everything else is top notch and I know it's out of the shop's control.
Ordered online. Collection within 30 minutes. Very busy outside the shop but my order was ready when I got there and piping hot. The three lads behind the counter did an amazing job.
Just moved to the area, this was the very first takeaway we tried. I really loved it, coming from slinfold we had a van locally and town delivered and it was not as good as this one! We are takeaway addicts so shall return and use the app this time, really like this idea and ease of ordering! We walked so parking is not an issue, if not probably just park behind sainsburys instead of fighting over the few spots outside. 😅
We regularly eat at the Master Fryer, using the on-line booking. It is always on-time, the staff are polite and the quality of food high & consistent. Keep up the great work! :-)
Excellent fish and chips. The batter is the best I've had. Easy to order on line and collect. What's not to like.

When I got there to pick up my order at 7.15 tonight it wasn't ready. What I really liked was the staff got my order done really fast and apologised. To me that means alot. Good service as always and friendly polite staff.
