After eating here today, and ordering 2 of the 8 items breakfasts at £9 each, initially thinking it was quite expensive, we were very surprised to find the food was absolute top quality, cooked to perfection and by far the best breakfast in Thanet. This is quite a statement as we eat out daily and have tried most restaurants and Cafes in Thanet. Highly recommended and for the price, we feel was good value for money.

Very welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much. It was my birthday & I was presented with a balloon, candle in an egg box & chorus of happy birthday. Food was great & they popped out to grab my fiancé some salad dressing. Thank you!!!

Gave it a try having lived in Birchington for 12 years and liked it.
The only things we didn't like was the brown sauce and the seats are uncomfortable 😕 Food is great though

Great little cafe on the highstreet. Not many tables and that makes it feel cosy and comfortable. Our server was excellent, the build your own breakfast was amazing, and the chatter was just right. Felt a little like like having breakfast with friends.

This cafe is the best in the area, don’t hesitate to go there. Friendly staff, great food, and great service. I live in California and travel back to Zara’s on each trip to Kent!

One of the best English breakfasts I've had in a long while and the staff are really friendly and helpful.
One of our party is celiac as well as having other food allergies and they happily catered for her every need.

Absolutely lovely place! First time visiting! Welcoming was met by very friendly people. Food was great and stayed hot! Best breakfast by far! Highly recommended! Definitely will return. Only donwnside was you could trip on step coming in or out through main door as it is not marked clearly, thinking more for people like my sister with disabilities.

To be honest, I read the reviews first before deciding to have my mid-morning breakfast during my one-night stay in Birchington. This little place is a gem! The lady who served me was ever so welcoming - I felt completely at ease! She seems to know all her customers by name and I was delighted to be part of such a warm atmosphere. My breakfast was perfect - I should have had second helpings! I highly recommend Zara's!
