Visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy some drinks and a meal. Excellent friendly service & food was amazing. Enjoyed cauliflower soup to start, wish we had got the recipe, fish and chip & chilli burger for main. Massive portion sizes and all tasted fresh and tasty. Staff treated you like an old friend. Dog friendly too! A must visit if you are in the area

A fabulous place to have Sunday roast. We both had the roast pork … so much of it! And the entire meal was hot, tasty and plenty of it.
The owner and staff couldn’t have been nicer.
Definitely recommend this lovely pub - clean, homely and welcoming.
Worthy of 6 stars.

Excellent food. Had a delicious Sunday roast and a child’s fish fingers meal which was excellent. The lady who took or order was really pleasant and kind to our impatient grandson. Thank you

Fabulous Sunday lunch with a lovely selection of seasonal vegetables and not forgetting the Yorkshire pudding. We would highly recommend a visit.

Great village style pub and restaurant. Really friendly hosts. I had a really tasty home made steak pie. Well worth the visit and I'll certainly be back again. Thanks.

Landlord and landlady were absolutely fantastic. Could not be nicer/helpful ❤️💙
Only issue not homemade Yorkies but not a game changer.

Under new ownership.
Friendly greeting on arrival.
Two real ales along with a selection of beers and lagers available.
Homemade soup was delicious followed by Steak pie (suggestion to the Chef not to use whole Black Peppercorns)
Pecan pie was nice to finish off 😋
Definitely value for money
We will be back
