I came here with my girlfriend for a valentines meal and had a great evening. The food was exceptional, healthy portion sizes, and the staff were super friendly. We got complimentary shots at the end of our meal, and they even gave my girlfriend a rose. Will definitely be coming back again soon!
A group of six of us visited again last weekend, we have been several times and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves each time. The atmosphere is very good, the waiters are excellent with their service and adding to the atmosphere talking and joking with the customerx, all this with The restaurant being packed. The food is delicious, I highly recommend the lamb kebab which was fantastic.
Manage to get a table on the off chance on a Saturday evening which was surprising as it was very busy when we arrived. However we were quickly shown our seats and drinks orders taken whilst we peruses the menu. After much going and firing chose the mixed vegetarian maze and the lamb main course. Both were delicious and the lamb in particular plentiful. Some veg to go with the main course would have been a nice addition but can’t complain. Apple pie to round off a fabulous meal
Gorgeous food, amazing service!! Great value for money and beautiful atmosphere. Been there before and will definitely go there again. Love that they offer platters so you can try a bit of everything.
Love Yiamas never a bad meal fantastic staff fantastic food. Always an entertaining evening we have been so many times and will always come back would highly recommend.
Had a lovely night for my daughter's birthday service was excellent nothing was too much trouble for our lovely waiter Peter food was excellent plenty of choice even for my 3fussy grand children I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good meal out .five stars

My family have become regulars at Yiamas over the past couple of years. The staff are always friendly and attentive, the food is excellent, the whole experience is special every time and it is great value too. We spent New Year's Eve there too, booked last-minute and had a wonderful time, joining in with the dancing. The atmosphere was amazing! We will continue to go there and would recommend Yiamas to anyone.
Visited last night with my friend for a catch up. We had not booked but was happily greeted and sat at a table for two. We ordered the Mezze banquet as it's just great value and you get to try everything plus we love our greek food, I love the tasmalata in here along with the Feta cheese salad including the olives, fish platter and the grilled meat it's just always good and them potatoes are just to the best! I just felt a bit squashed last night and hot as on top of the radiator but I'm sure if we had asked they would have moved us but it was busy and I'm grateful they fitted us in.

Spent New Years Eve at this great greek restaurant.The food was lovely, it was hot and fresh with lots of choice and the portions of the meze where huge and full of surprises. The staff were lovely and attentive and really wanted you to have a great time. The managers were so involved with all the customers. We had a little wait till our table was ready and were given complimentary drinks of our choice. The entertainment was a bellydancer who really got the customers involved by dressing up and dancing and singing. The atmosphere was really good fun. We went outside at 12.00 to watch a fireworks display, paid for by the owners and celebrated with a glass of prosecco,again compliments of Yiamass Restaurant. The service was great the whole night, It was good value for money and we could not fault anything and will be booking again for next year.
Wonderful Greek food in a place full of character. Read tons of reviews of this place so decided to give it a go and wasn’t remotely disappointed. The service is wonderful, in fact I wouldn’t call it service, it’s like going to see family you haven’t seen in ages. Made to feel so welcome and relaxed 😊 The food is cracking, tastes wonderfully homemade (good homemade like a Greek gran has made it just for you) and the portions are massive (the roasties are to die for) Must also give a shout out for the coffee - best I’ve had in ages! Will be back regularly, was a joy to visit

Fantastic meal in double quick time as we had to get to the football.Tasty and very good value. Just a shame about the match!
4 of us had the early evening special £11.95 for 2 courses on 5/11. Everyone enjoyed it - empty plates all round. Wine wasn't too bad either at £12.50 a bottle.
Out with friends and spent 3 fantastic hours on a Saturday evening at Yiamas. Food was excellent as was the service/ staff this really is a gem of restaurant that transports you to Greece!

We visited the Yiamas Greek Taverna last night for a family meal. We’d never been before, but decided to try something different. We were not disappointed. The restaurant has a very friendly busy atmosphere with the waiting staff being really attentive etc. We had a selection of the meze starters that were brilliant (a meal in themselves!) and very tasty. Mains were really authentic with us having stifado, mousaka , fish and kebabs etc. All very tasty. The service was great and we enjoyed the Greek retsina wine. I’ve driven past this restaurant many times over the years and wondered what it would be like. I wish I’d tried it earlier and will definitely be back. Thanks for a really relaxed, informal night out!
