Had a fantastic South African meal which was on the specials. Can't remember what it was called now but it was absolutely lovely. It was so nice to be able to try something different. The wife went for sausage and mash and really enjoyed it too. If you haven't been recently, I would recommend to give it a try. The owners are lovely and the food was exceptional 👌
Amazing place,this is the 2nd time I've been with my family, food was so tasty,I couldn't even finish my roast dinner it was so filling,all fresh food as well and the specials are great! Lively atmosphere,dog friendly and a great beer garden for the kids with a bouncy castle. Staff were so friendly and always checking everything was OK.

Organised a hen party for my soon to be daughter in law. Emma, manager was so helpful even when members of the party were held up. Food was gorgeous and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Great night
The Pub landlady was very kind letting me use the toilets when I was in desperate need. Although I offered to buy something(not a beer as it's early) in return she let me used for free. I appreciate it and will definitely come back for a drink. Thank you
New owners, redecorated. Wasn't expecting much as pubs nowadays are so samey food wise. Well, it was fabulous. The homemade steak and akw pie with yes, proper home-made gravy and chips was perfect. Was £14.99 but sooooo worth it. My go to pub now.
Was a lovely evening sitting in the garden. We were with our dog so was expecting to stay outside. The staff were very busy with a large party in. We should have really booked online seeing as it was a Saturday but as there was just two of us thought we could sneek in. Waited over an hour for our burgers but to be fair the staff apologised for the delay and the food was very good. Big plus we were allowed inside with our 🐶 will return so recommend.
A nice pub with two halves. One half a more restaurant feel with tables and chairs of various numbers. The other half a more relaxed sports bar area with pool table and dart board. The outside play area is good if you have younger members in your party. The carvery is cheap and very decent though it really does vary according to the timing of your visit. The puddings are excellent. Haven't tried starters. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

A new menu with delicious dishes at reasonable prices, cooked by a new chef and served by friendly and tentative staff. Family atmosphere, where all can feel welcome. A very enjoyable evening. Will most definitely be back soon.
We sat outside for just one drink. Big outdoor area with a slide for children and around 25 picnic benches. My only negative comment would be that the outside could be tidier and the picnic benches cleaner.
