Came in, feeling in a bit of a daze and unsure of myself. Completely welcomed in by the guys in the kitchen and out front. Felt totally welcome and at ease. Had a little bite which tasted great, a few coffees and some good chats with other customers. Came out feeling positive and looked after. Thank you to everyone there. A special place. Will defo get one of the daily specials next time as it all looked so good!. Thanks again 🙏🏻

I was killing time waiting for the ferry last night and happened upon this place. I had a gorgeous cup of tea and some biscuits from the place and was treated brilliantly by everyone at the hatch. Thank you so much, you were an oasis after a long drive and the initiative you are part of is just amazing and takes a big heart and dedication. I hope you have every success. Thank you yet again. Great place. Great food at by far the most reasonable prices you will find in Birkenhead - all home-cooked. Warm and friendly ambience. All for a worthwhile cause and helping not only the local community but the peninsula and Liverpool too
