The staff are helpful and friendly. There haven't been enough chairs outside for months, losing many customers. The food is always too expensive. People buy food from more reasonable priced shops who are competitor of Cafe Nero.

Good coffee shop in the centre of Birkenhead, beside the shops and market. I sat inside and got a lovely chocolate orange donut and cappuccino. Upstairs was closed off, making it difficult to get a table downstairs. I got a small table beside the toilet, so I didn't stay as long as I wanted. There was seating free outside, but I found it was too cold to sit out.
Tried the amaretto iced latte was very nice, the amaretto hot choc is next on my list! Service was quick & friendly

Nice cup of coffee, I gotta admit. Friendly service, not too pricy either, for a cafe that is. And you can sit outside!
Before visiting this specific Caffe Nero, I had negative views on the coffee chain as a whole. However, I visited this CN whilst other coffee shops were busy and I actually had my views changed. The staff are so lovely and funny, they're really helpful and they make brilliant coffee. I now visit this CN whenever i'm in town center before work or if i'm coming to do Uni work.
The staff are the best part of the shop itself, I wouldn't go to any other CN unless its this one :)
