The best place to eat in central Birkenhead by far. I ve been going to this stylish place for a couple of years now. It has a impressive historic fascia , very attractive interior and relaxed atmosphere plus good choice of food and ..friendly staff ( hello Dana). See the pics here. Right opposite McD s on Charing Cross in the heart of Birken-vegas as us locals call it. I can always go to Riviera and relax , enjoy the stylish decor and not feel pressured at all. Good for meeting friends over a snack n coffee or drink ( the bar serves lots cocktails etc if that's your thing) or for a full blown meal. High recommended . SMc

Food was gorgeous at the Riviera - tasted so fresh and portions sizes really generous! Staff were attentive and couldn’t do enough for our big table. Amazing value for money, thank you so much, we will be back!
