We want to say thank you very much.. Ice cream van was in perfect place 👍👍
This was my first visit to this actual store. Upon entering the store, we could not find any shopping baskets. This meant anything we wanted to buy, we had to carry. The store was very busy, I have no idea why. We bought a few bits, mainly due to not having a basket and decided to go for a cuppa in the Asda cafe. I was very surprised to find the cafe nearly empty. There were only two tables in use, but it gave us a good free selection, haha! We didn't have anything to eat. We got two pots of tea, and there is enough in each pot for two cups, and at a very reasonable price of £1.25 per pot. The cuppa was great. Overall, I did not enjoy the shopping at this Asda store, but the cafe was a really welcoming place.
For what ever you are looking for .this place is well worth a trip. Great staff .
Good choice. Good value. What more do you need.
Paid £1.50 to park up but i stopped for brunch bacon scrambled eggs beans chips and 2 slices of buttered toast and a coffee it was very nice very full after it, and because i paid for parking i had £1.50 taken off the price so around £5.98 total well worth it for all that i just had something light for tea supper because i was still stuffed.
I'd of given 5* had you had the means to recycle the plastic packaging that a great percentage of the products you sell are wrapped in.

Massive it is, if you are looking for a kitchen, electrical or warm food it is here. Got a lot of options and recommend Asda.
Great store plenty to offer & choice.
However it's not a very clean store, very untidy.
Some Staff are also extremely rude, especially at the self service checkouts.

I dont mind any Adsa.
However, Birkenhead Asda has a habit of accusing people of shoplifting, closing off the toilets earlier in the evening, and reductions are better in Woodchurch Asda. I find, at times, the Birkenhead Asda can be confusing for customers when staff move stock around and do not update their aisle signs.
Every time I shop there (at least twice a month), they are short-stocked, their prices fluctuate, and sometimes extortionate, there's stock trolleys dotted around, and they are untidy with cardboard boxes. Stock is not visible, and even on a shelf at times, and there are no prices. There is also a lack of staff on, and especially, for self-service. The Birkenhead Asda has nearly completely abandoned their conveyor tills and cashier or packing assistance.
On the other hand, what keeps me going back is the fresh produce, bakery and deli, its range in groceries; range of dietry restriction or dietary need products (Celiac, Lacto-Free, Multi-vitamin, Vegan & Vegetarian). They have a fresh flower assortment, generous clothing sizes (George), a range in health, beauty, and cosmentic products. On occasion, multi-buy offers. It's convenient as it's close to a bus station, taxi rank, on-site parking, and is neighbour to the Pyramids (Grange) Shopping Centre.
Looked like a long queue to tills but quickly went down, helpful staff
Got what I needed, was served by Gemma who was lovely, nice to see so many old wilko staff working there
