On an early hot summer afternoon as a tourist playing the Niantic augmented reality game called Ingress, I noticed that this establishment was included in the game map.
I was grateful that they had a selection of various IPA in the large fridge, although initially the assistant who served me was not clear on his understanding of what IPA is, as he tried to offer me something else. Perhaps it was me being unclear, who knows.
It was too early for me to eat, but the Indian dishes looked fantastic!
Seriously, this place is outstanding. It is quirky, vibrant, funky and just a whole lot different: in a really good way.
It's a super special place where you could bring your family or a hot date! Nabhi and his crew are friendly and helpful & create a laid back, almost hosting a party atmosphere.
And then we get to the beer and food: it's REALLY good. The sort of food and drink you think about a few days later and wish you were back there eating & drinking it.
What a find! I can't encourage you enough to go, try it, it's worth the visit and you'll find yourself returning. I'm intending to for sure!
Thank you, The Indian Brewery Team, you've really cracked it: the atmosphere, the food, the beer, the service, it's perfect! 👏🏼 🙏🏼🕉
Oh how I love this place! It seems that the secret to success is increasingly to do one thing and do it well and to that end Indian Brewery are smashing an increasingly crowded space.
Food is both excellent in quality and interesting in variation. The team are friendly and will greet you with a warm but not overwhelming welcome. The layout of this place (long tables) really encourages socialisation so expect your great food to be matched with great conversation especially if you're willing to chat to complete strangers.
So. . . whether you live here or are visiting this place should be high on your list!
The food was absolutely amazing. Authentic and really tasty. The cocktails and beers were brilliant too. Went with family and friends. Kids loved it. We will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend eating here. I would say it's the best Indian food I've eaten at a restaurant.... And that's compared to restaurants in India too! It is that good! Don't even think about it, just go!
What an absolutely banging place. Two of the best things ever invented put together in one place to an excellent standard. A group of 5 went there on a Thursday night. At one end is a brew house with a selection of craft ales and beers (other drinks available too) at the other is a seating area where I dian street food style food is served with a western twist. Although rice and curries available this place is all about delicious unique curries served on naan bread, and it was out of this world. Plenty of sides available but I recommend the cheesy chips (with an India twist of course!). Service was great and brilliant vibe. Will be coming here again next time in town. And just to cap it all it was really reasonably priced.
Indian restaurant crossed with a craft brewery. There is an extensive range of craft beers on tap, that can also be bought in bottles/cans to take home.
The menu has a range of sides, mains, curries and naan breads. There only four curries of which three are vegetarian. The butter chicken is delicious, the beer is better.
It's mostly table seating in a industrial space.
Went here as part of the JQ event. Nice taproom and resteraunt. Had a pint of Camden Stout and a Faat Naan kebab king. Brother had light beer and a Faat Naan Chicken Run. Beer board shows whats on draught plus cans available.
Tasty Indian food under the arches with their own unique style and fantastic flavours at less than £30 per head including drinks and 🎂,what more would you want - well chuck in the colourful decor, buzzing atmosphere and good service, not much ❓👍‼️✔️💯
Gorgeous food and a lovely restaurant. The staff here will make you feel very welcome and at home, they can’t do enough for you. 10/10 would recommend. I also love how you can see the food being prepared and cooked as I’m usually very fussy but had no complains about this place!
What a fabulous place! The food is delicious, authentic. The beers are also spot on, the decor takes you straight to India. Staff is lovely and the owner very friendly, they managed to get us a table on an extremely busy Saturday night without a booking, albeit after a bit of a wait.
Whenever we need a bit of India, this place hits the spot, as the atmosphere is lovely.
Always a favourite!
