We booked the private room upstairs for work Xmas party and had a lot of fun, the staff where very helpful and catered to our every need and andrew the manager was up to check on us and help where he could even though it was his night off, really enjoyed our night and plan on doing it again next year

Had my sons Christening here a year ago, I've had MANY functions over the years and would highly recommend this place over any other! An absolutely lovely landlord and very nice facilities. Took my kids for food the other day as the car was in the garage, was disappointed to find that the new menu thats gone live on the website wasn't available because they hadn't got any of the stuff for it, but the bar staff did their best to sort us out even with a wake on in the back room, so we all left very happy and very full

This is a nice pub, the staff are lovely and there are plenty of places to sit. It can be quite noisy and rowdy on a weekend but there are far worse pubs for this in the area. It's not massively wheelchair friendly as there are a few awkward steps at the front and into the back bar. Generally the regulars will help hold doors and things like that if you're struggling and I think that says a lot about the kind of place it is.
