The food was lovely, but there was barely any meat in the Korma like 4- 5 chunks and lots or sauce. There atmosphere was quiet due to it being New Year’s Eve so we was able to do new years count down with my BBC app. Although it would have been nice for them to have some music on in the background. Lovely service man.

I've been eating at Banu for over ten years now and have enjoyed good, friendly service and splendid vegetarian food. The place has a sort of old-fashioned charm about it and isn't too noisy. In my opinion, it is also reasonably priced. This evening, I had a three course meal followed by a nice coffee served with delicious silky cream as requested. For my main meal, I had noodles with korma sauce and it was just the ticket. I'd recommend Banu if you're visiting Birmingham alone or want a meal out with a friend or partner.
