We had a great meal celebrating my sisters birthday yesterday.
The fresh meats were delicious, sides were fab and a large variety to choose from but most of all the staff made our family meal, they were really lovely and very attentive.
Went with my husband yesterday and cannot recommend this place enough, meat was absolutely amazing, steak so tender and the other meat was delicious
Absolutely loved the fresh meats and salad combos. The caipirinha jar is a must (had 4 w my partner) ups
Too bad it closes a bit early during weekdays but we still had a good time

Booked for my wife's birthday and had a great time. We both wanted to try Brazilian food and we weren't let down. The style of service is interesting, with the staff being absolutely brilliant from the Manager to the waiters. The food was great too with a good variety and staff were more than willing to go the extra mile for our enjoyment. Highly recommend!!

Located in fabulous canalside complex The Cube, Rodizio Rico serves up a true Brazilian flavour in food, fun and atmosphere.
Atmosphere
Lovely views of the canal and rustic decor make for a relaxing, laidback atmosphere. There are red and green sided cards on the table. Green means you want meat brought to your table, while red means you’re good, for now. The card signals make dinner here a fun and unique experience.
food
It’s a hot and cold ‘all-you-can-eat’ buffet but there is nothing tacky about it, with dishes such as feijioada (stew of beans and pork) eggplant, prawns, cheese board, cous cous and salads. Delicious warm garlic bread was brought on skewers but the main event was the meat.
Passadors (meat carvers) come to the tables, slicing meat onto your plates. There was rump side steak, beef ribs, chicken, lamb and even chicken hearts. I especially loved the chicken sausage. Luckily my vegetarian wife was not ignored, she was very satisfied with the vegetarian skewers.
For dessert I opted for brigadeirao – rich chocolate mouse as recommended by our waiter. The flavours proved to be rich indeed!

A great wine list list with the wines listed by country. We chose the gorgeous pinot grigio blush di venezie. And of course, as befits a Brazilian restaurant, there are cocktails galore. Naturally we opted for caipirinhas, which were very strong!
overall
The price for the buffet is £23. I feel it would be more fair if dessert were included in this. Service: Initially the waiters came over just a little too often to offer us the meats - even when we showed red cards - but I guess they were very keen to do their job! I definitely plan to go back, and next time I’ll make sure I haven’t eaten all day. Fun experience.
Amazing experience! My first but definitely not my last time! Our server was Mia, he was so nice, very professional and made us feel so comfortable! An absolute amazing service!
A very good looking and designed indoors with a wonderful atmosphere, where you can definitely enjoy a meal.
Let’s not talk about the food and meat which was finger licking good!!!

Fantastic restaurant! Me and hubby came for date night. I'm not a big eater but my husband is, and he tried every thing! And loved it all! The food was delicious, great choice of drinks, great atmosphere, everyone was super friendly. Gorgeous views of the canals and the Mailbox. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Visited a few days ago as a family and we really enjoyed it 👍 There is a salad bar which contains plenty of choice-from comforts such as beef/chicken lasagnes, salads, squid and mussels to name a few aswell as a selection of bread. The meat is however the star of the show, constant service of freshly cooked meats bought table side and you choose which ones you want (great if you need a protein boost!). Drinks were actually good value for money you do get a large glass for what you pay. The only criticisms I would make are that the beef lasagne was very salty, and the plates were not cleared from table as often as I would’ve liked (it is essentially a buffet). No brigadeiro cake for us to try on the day either 😞 but all in all a very good restaurant 😊
The whole experience was amazing. All of the food was incredibly delicious down to something as simple as the onion rings. The meat cut at the table was obviously an absolute stand out. Truly has become one of my favourite places to go. 100% recommend

It was a surprise for us the quality of the meat but also the quantity!
For this price I doubt if you can find such a meal in Birmingham!
Plus that you are overlooking the canal, at the best part of Birmingham!
Good atmosphere. Food generally good however found the lamb a little chewy rather then tender.
The waiter Mihai, went extra mile to be sure our demands and requests for the night were followed and respected by the whole porter service and the kitchen.
Can't ask for anything else more. Great environment and selection of meats and salad bar.
Will come sooner than later here.

We went for a lunch and were very impressed. The buffet is decent but not spectacular but it's only there to accompany the onslaught of meat. Which is all tasty and cooked perfectly. They're not shy with it either, there was a constant supply. The staff were all polite and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The grill chef was the standout on the day, managing the grill and serving the meat, all with a smile too. A real credit to the company!

From succulent cuts of beef to tender chicken, every bite was a symphony of flavours. The best part? They just keep coming, ensuring you never have a dull moment or an empty plate.
But that's not all! Rodizio Rico boasts a generous and beautifully presented buffet that is a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The range of salads, sides, and other accompaniments was simply mind-boggling. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, there's something here for everyone.
During my visit, one person made this dining experience even more memorable: Chef Angelo. He went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was perfect. His warm and friendly demeanour, combined with his professionalism, was a testament to the outstanding service at Rodizio Rico. Chef Angelo's personal touch truly made my evening special, and I'm grateful for his dedication to making each guest feel special.
