Lucky Duck - Birmingham - Photo album

Another restaurant I’ll add to my Birmingham favourites. This cosy Asian food inspired experience offers a sense of eating at home. The hostess was chatty, professional and attentive. Food was prepared with care, presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. You get a lot of bao for your buck. A g
It was a very pleasant experience. Very small menu but good choices. We've been looking for a good ramen place in birmingham for years now and this probably the best one so far. The place itself was small but comfortable and had relaxing music on. They said they change their menu from time to time s
Went to Lucky Duck for lunch and ordered the chicken bao bun, pork belly ramen, ox cheeks ramen(both small) and the chilli and garlic noodles. Every course was well presented, great taste and very friendly service. The interior is chic and simple, minimalistic style. I will definitely be back an
This is a great wee place with an intimate feel and relaxed atmosphere. The decor is very simple and tasteful and the choice of music was suited to a dark winter's evening. Service was great, the lady who served us was friendly and efficient. She made us feel welcome and was on the ball. We had th
The staff are really friendly, I had the rare beef pho and it was super tasty. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star review is: I ordered the large bowl for £10, my friend ordered the same dish, but the small bowl for £5. They came in the same bowl (not literally), except mine had about
We tried all the veggie options and were really tasty. Don't miss out the buns and home-made deserts. Pleasant environment, excellent service and decent prices.
Amazing food, nice tidy place. Great find. Noodles are perfect. Brisket is melt in the mouth and the broth was a good flavour (additionally spiced to taste). The duck buns were a treat (a few spring onions wouldn't go a miss) and the pineapple, pecan and coconut yoghurt dessert is an absolute dream.
Popped in for a takeaway at the end of lunch today - well rewarded with a beautiful bowl of duck ramen with a soft boiled egg. Balanced flavours and healthy ingredients = tasty guilt free ramen! We’ll be back for the buns soon...
Environment is very good, service very nice and I love the duck 🦆 bun.. it was so tasty that I ate it fast! No pic. Soups were lovely 😊
Atmosphere - nice and quiet. Food - delicious and authentic! Highly recommend.
We got here just after opening for the dinner menu. So glad they had room for us! The buns are amazing and the noodles are extremely tasty. Service is speedy and smiley and great value for money too. The buns are huge so don't over order and it's a cosy little place so booking ahead is probably a go
Probably the best noodles I've had in Birmingham. Sitting in between St Paul's Square and the Jewellery Quarter, the Lucky Duck has a simple menu centred on noodles and bao buns. The restaurant is really nicely done out and wonderfully relaxed with attentive and accommodating staff who looked after
Warm, friendly, minimalistic, and delicious. Some of the best ramen I've had outside Japan, also recommend the mint ice cream. Didn't try the buns, but they looked amazing as well. Staff were also acommodating when I made a last minute reservation. Thank you :)
Me and my partner went to this nice restaurant in the jewellery quarter with nice atmosphere. We got a pork noodle broth and ox cheek pho. The food wasn't bad, subtle flavours and fresh. Reasonable prices but did feel the broths needed abit more seasoning. Would go again.
This place has huge potential. The bao buns are sublime and a must try. The only criticism I have is the mains are almost too subtle in flavour. The stock used for the soups needs to be stewed longer for deeper flavour and inspect more flavour from the pork. As I say though there's huge potential
