What a gem of a place! There's plenty of coffee shops and fast food on Kingsheath high St but walk past the big chain on the corner and the pasty shop and you'll find this beautiful place, it's opposite EE. Lovely decor and music, the owner is very friendly and has clearly put his all into the place
Absolutely loved this place. My second visit but first with family members. The staff and customers were more than willing to make us all feel welcome and put up with our crazy family antics whilst playing board games and causing general mayhem. Apologies again to anyone in to around the location fo
Love this cosy little cafe/bar, almost hidden in plain sight on Kings Heath high street. Interesting decor, comfy sofas and a relaxed atmosphere make it a great place to escape to if you need to unwind. The staff are helpful and friendly, and brought us complementary snacks while we were working thr
Nice and interesting place. Nice couple of vegan options, even with vegan cheese. Good cider :)
Great little place. Quirky interior with a chilled out vibe. Freindly staff and reasonable prices.
I went for a drink here yesterday afternoon and I love the layout. My first thought was opium den, but I assure you the place was drug-free. It was the decor that gave me that thought. The bartender was friendly and the drinks were good. The ambience of the place is laid back and stylish and I’ll ha
Such a quaint coffee shop! The server was so kind and attentive to everyone sitting in and made a cute and delicious drink!
A great pub to relax in and casual dining venue in the heart of Kings Heath. Superb beer selection, good food with knowledgeable and friendly staff. It's a truly unique space that offers a seductive ambience; an ideal place to unwind and while away the hours. Black Lab offers an alternative backdrop
This place is amazing, Andrea the morning host is brilliant. She knows her coffee better than anyone. She makes the best coffee I have ever tasted. When I go in I just say surprise me with a new drink and she never fails. I would have given 5 stars but because Andrea is not there on Monday, I have t
Nice ambience, good coffee, good falafel wrap and accompanying salad. Both food and coffee seemed a cut above what gets served in some other places, and didn't disappoint, as they sometimes can. The staff were pleasant and chatty. So all in all, very happy with my first visit there, even if all the
Great coffees, really good beer selection (especially if you're a fan of the German style ABK like I am) in a really comfy setting. Great way to warm up with a coffee or have a couple of relaxed drinks in an evening in a lovely setting. Currently offering takeaway service but will be sure to walk th
Open again for eat-in. My favourite Kings Heath cafe. Good coffee (coconut milk served), friendly staff, great chill soundtrack and a tasty vegan carrot & pistachio cake. Feels like home from home. Becomes a great little bar at night with decent mocktails and good music.
Very stylish retro shabby chic look. Great atmosphere. Good choice of cocktails.Good bar and teas & coffees. Simple menu. Had delicious tomato houmous with flat bread. Chef rustled up green salad for me. So great service too.
Excellent licensed coffee shop bar with relaxing atmosphere. Visited for my first time yesterday with a friend. Nice friendly staff. Thanks so much.
Quirky little spot. So many generic same same bars...tbis is not one. Nice and dark. Great that they have draft beer now, but still nice to be able to choose your own scoops from the fridge too! Great alt spot.
Good small drinks place good choices of cocktails and wines few beers on draft. Pleasant place to drop into other than a traditional pub.
