Great for large groups. There were four Birthday parties going at the same time. The food was very nice the staff were helpful. They only sell soft drinks so bring your own or buy it from a local shop 2 minutes walk away. Ps 2 bottles 330ml coke cost nearly £6 this was the only downside

Great welcome from friendly staff. Amazing food. Very clean and tidy. Can take own alcohol. Only thing is no parking but would definitely recommend this place.

My wife and I had Christmas Day lunch at The New Masala Merchant. Wow. Absolutely brilliant. It was a bit busy on the sitting times changeover, but people who were waiting were well looked after with free Proseco/beer and nibbles. Once seated, all went superbly well. The staff were brilliant and well up for looking after everyone. They couldn't do enough for you, and all with smiles on their faces. The food was excellent. All served up at a time to suit us. Crackers, small present for everyone and still free Proseco/beer if you wanted. A wonderful experience, and by the looks of the other diners, they were having the same experience as us. Thank you to all at the New Masala Merchant. A Happy and hopefully prosperous New year to you all. Dave and Erica.
