Zizzi - Harborne

Picture this: Monday evening- not busy. Big pizza oven fired up, good range and options. Pleasant staff, not very well organised or efficient: food arrived without too much delay - fish skewers with potato and hollandaise sauce. Not great, but adequate. I bet everyone gets an online voucher - why wouldn't we??

The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere and decor, extremely inviting. Our server James definitely made the visits even better, he was extremely attentive, funny and helpful. We have been to zizzi's in the city centre before but it was definitely not a good as here. The food was also great. I'd say the only downfall is the toilets are 3 floors up however well worth the walk as they where juat as inviting as the rest of the building and staff. I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be coming back.

First class service from the moment we walked in! We did book as we were double dating on a Sat night so knew it would be busy, but front of house gent was funny and made you feel very welcome, showed us to our seats where we were given the extensive menu and drinks list, we were well acommodadated for as one of our party is expecting a baby so mocktails at the ready! They also swapped the cheese in the dish that she couldn't eat (as it was raw goats milk) for mozzarella. Service was very fast and all staff were extremely friendly. Have been here many times with my young sister as we find the service to be good and the staff very friendly. Never too much trouble to help or suggest amendments to dishes for dietary requirements. Only one downside is that as it is in a historic building it is usually a little chilly and the toilets are up a spiral staircase. Neither of these should put you off though; will be back.
