Fish n Chips Fish 9/10 Chips 6/10 Peas 9/10 I marked the fish down 1 point, only because the tail end was too hard to chew and eat. Otherwise a very tasty fish. The chips tasted as if they had been sat waiting for a while before being served. Peas gets knocked off a point purely because of the presentation. Overall a good meal!

Booked for a night to save travelling back late after a show. Staff were extremely quick, friendly and helpful! Drinks appeared almost instantly and meals were at the table within 5 minutes, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The room was clean (With the odd scuff but thats to be expected) and the cleaning lady was lovely :) The bed was a little hard for me but still comfortable. Overall had a wonderful experience and have recommended it to friends

It's a spoons, does what it's designed for. A good hideout from the rain with the added bonus of lunch and a pint for less than £10. Can't go wrong in my eyes. We all know what spoons is, it's god damn beautiful that's what.

Review for pub only, not hotel. It's a large Wetherspoons with the usual range of drinks and food. Prices are higher than my local Wetherspoons, but this is in the city centre. Most seating is out in the open, so it isn't as cosy as some pubs. I wasn't impressed with my burger but the beer was good.

Booked an accessible room, which should have been a clue, as am blind, yet asked to full in a paper from🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Room was good size, clean and tidy. Only issues were position of TV, up high on wall no good for those with visual disabilities, again accessible room. Shower had only 1 setting very hot 🔥 no matter what you did with levers to see made no difference. Great to have link to pub but not obvious which door the card unlocked, also couldn't find the button to get out the hotel. But good night's sleep, comfortable bed

I only use the pub to drink and eat in ,like all weatherspoons pubs always great value sometimes I wonder how they can pay all the staff but looking round it's such a popular pub and it regularly gets packed out only thing that puts me off is trying to get to the bar somedays, and when you go to use the toilet sometimes when you get back you find your drink as disappeared, don't use it much as I like the square peg and Dragon, and I don't no why I only tend to have a meal and drink, heard as an hotel it is good and reasonably priced and if they keep the hotel rooms clean like the toilets and rest of the pub I'll doubt you'll find any bed bugs, also I like looking at the massive safe there and sometimes wonder if there's anything in there . don't know any of the staff but I'm sure there all good guys and dolls.sometime though I don't think you need all the door staff on most of the weatherspoons pubs ,some people don't go in as they feel uneasy saying that I suppose you need them but maybe just a couple after all we do have a police force.

Currently quiet and not noisy when at their busiest.Selected drinks affordable and good value. Does have its busy days though. Worth a visit but no outdoor area due to location in city centre.

Decent staff, decent food. Good prices. Just need to work on the attention to detail and would easily have been a 5.

Central Birmingham city. Service is good. Food was very tasty..we had steak chips and salad. No complaints. Prices are very reasonable. Tables could do with a clean between customers.

Great little pub but does get busy. We felt the organisation wasnt great as we saw 4 people get food before us but ordered after us! We brought it up with the manager who apologised and offered complimentary drinks as an apology and our food was made and brought out next.
