Tried Tarafdars for the first time today and it was a great experience. I got the student deal which was delicious and excellent value for money for the amount that you got.
Their website was simple and easy to use and the staff were friendly when I went to collect. They even have a cool fish tank in their waiting area.
This place is by far the best Indian takeaway I've had in Birmingham. The food was delicious. Everything was fresh, full of flavour and tasty.

The lamb and chicken naga dishes are great if you like spicy dishes. The onion bhajis are great. Great selection of rice dishes. My friend really enjoyed his balti too.
My only criticism would be the naan bread. They're thicker/denser than I normally like.

Been searching for decent Indian takeaway for a while , after our regular restaurant was outed in the local press with a 0 health rating ( still operating 18months later on a 1??). We have tried a few and the food has been from Meh to poor. We saw a this place in the Birmingham Evening Mail in an article 'Birmingham's cleanest takeaway's' .Then checked the reviews on various social media/ review sights which gave it rave reviews . So we ordered a takeaway , food was fantastic . We have since been back twice and it was probably better , great tandoor mixed grill , tasty king prawn balti ( plenty of large KP) , great rices and breads . As well being safe in the knowledge that it has a 5* rating for food hygiene, and the FSA commended it for it's food handling and cleanliness. Nice friendly staff and the food is always ready quickly . Very well priced , Excellent takeaway.
Ordered here several times. Had a bad experience last night with a delivery driver getting lost and then asking me to come collect my food from her?
Guy called me up apologising. Cooked a fresh meal for me and an extra meal for the waif and delivered it in 10 mins.

First time eating from here and the family really loved it. Food was really delicious and hot due to fast delivery. Would really recommend this to any one especially if you haven't eaten from here!

Very good customer service. The food had a lot of flavour and not like your typical Indian takeaway. The Syltehi Jalfrazi is a must if you like a slightly hot dish with a kick.
1st time ordering from them....tried quite a few from the area...but these will definitely have more custom from us. The food came in the time given and hot...everything was spot on and the young lady who delivered was very polite. Highly recommended.
Tried this place over the weekend as I heard a few people talk about it in the local pub. What can I say, staff were very attentive and recommended a few dishes for us to try. Nice décor too
