Went on wee road trip From Scotland staying at Leeds,Manchester then Birmingham and have to say the best food we had was at this wee gem we found reading reviews on Premier inn. Would definitely recommend and staff were welcoming and friendly. Cheers guys xx

Absolutely amazing place. Spent the commonwealth games here for food and drinks on a daily basis. So a few of us came back a year later and it did not disappoint. Food is absolute exceptional and great value. Staff are really nice and nothing is to much. Will definitely be back again next year and highly recommend this place.

Hi everyone I have been to the sack of potatoes. I met Sheila and Clare. They were very helpful and polite. The food was of a very good standard and nothing was too much trouble. They both recommended scrambled eggs for my husband who has trouble swallowing and poor appetite. My family and myself were happy with the service we received. And as for my 4 legged family they were happy to see her there. We will go there again 100 percent. It is clean, friendly and has a good atmosphere. Please give it a go you will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to return. The first thing they ask is if anyone has an allergy. Which many places never ask. I don't think there is anything on the menu you will not enjoy.

I came with a group of colleagues from work and the staff was very welcoming I believe the bar staff on the day were named Cassandra and Sheila. We order some food and it came out hot and fresh and on time and nobody was left waiting for their food. Plates and glasses was clean and atmosphere was great and the manager Vicky was very polite and made us feel like I’ve been here many times before. Would definitely come again and recommend

A really good pub. The food was good and very reasonable price. Staff very helpful and friendly. It is a short walk from the Aloft Hotel which is a rip off in terms of prices of food and drinks. I would recommend this pub .

Shelia and Carla were brilliant, super friendly and great service. On a busy and hot day, they were serving still with a smile! The burgers we ordered were top notch, BBQ Mac and Chicken bacon burger were very good 👌🏻

Food Is pretty pricy your looking at a fiver for a side of CHIPS. which are pretty small. also the 2for1 cocktails are an absolute scam. they give you 2 half filled glasses. however drinks ARE NICE and the food is tasty. portions are just teeny tiny

its one the best places in Birmingham. For starters you can order chicken bbq wrap with fires and coke and can sit outside and enjoy the weather in summers. Also they have great indoor seating too.

As I have recently moved In to the local area, I was recommended this pub by a few friends and it didn’t disappoint. Upon arrival I was greeted by very friendly bar staff named Cassandra and Shelia and was shown to my table. However this is where the good news ends. As I opened the menu I was extremely disappointed to find out that I couldn’t order a sack of potatoes and I was even more disappointed to find out they serve cauliflower wings as nobody in there right mind would order that. I instead went for one of the pub classics which is never a pub classic an ultimate chicken tikka masala. However once I got my food I noticed hair in my food and wanted it sent back and when I got food back I was horrified to see one of the chefs spit in my food just before it was sent out. I then put my complaints to a very lovely Shelia who dealt with the issue. Furthermore this pub doesn’t allow inclusivity as a bunch of people showed up with a pride flag which were quickly booted out by the owner. The photo below believe it or not was the chicken tikka masala. I tried to point out it was a roast dinner but they insisted it was a chicken tikka masala. You can be the judge of that. Furthermore the beer was green and tasted off

Great vibe. Online ordering at the table was easy and the food was accurate and delicious. Staff were friendly and the service was quick. If I ever come back to Birmingham I would make the trip in for another burger.
