The roast carvery was excellent. The beef was so tender and tasty. Roasters lovely flavour. Loved the green beans, cabbage, cauliflower and peas. Everything was hot, even the plates. Plenty of crispy yorkshire puds as well. Great friendly staff. We can thoroughly recommend this restaurant in Hall Gr
On one of the hottest days of the year, the place was packed as it was £5 carvery night. The staff worked so hard (especially the guys on the carvery) and all were a credit to the company. Food replenished quickly and very tasty.

Carvery was fine. Some veg a little dry & tastless (cabbage & carrots). We had to wait for a carver to come and serve us. Gravy pot was empty so requested it to be refilled apologies made by staff. On the whole though not bad for a fiver each. Staff very polite.
Excellent staff , very friendly and helpful , chef was amazing , friendly and chatty , gave a nice portion of meat , food was all hot and very tasty , it’s actually the best Toby I’ve used , thank you
Food was really nice but I had a cold so I couldn’t taste much (not their fault lol). It was very packed but they still put out fresh food & all the meats were still available despite the rush!!!

On numerous occasions unfortunately, the cauliflower has been undercooked but overall, our regular visits have been a lovely experience with terrific Staff members offering great Customer Service and altogether an enjoyable, atsompheric time. Will certainly be returning soon. Thank you all!
Food wasn’t up to it’s normal standards unfortunately the veg choices was lacking no broccoli but sweetcorn? Bizarre. Also the sticky toffee pudding was dry hardly any toffee sauce on it, the ice cream machine was broken so wasn’t much choice of puddings. The meat, carrots & roast potatoes was nice,

Service was not great, carver was friendly and fun, meat was cooked to perfection, veg was ok but maybe too much potato options and not enough other veg options. 4 types of potatoes is 2 too many.
Visited today and was served by Wardale at the carvery deck, pleasant gentleman. And then waited on by Lisa, who was very friendly and attentive. Not forgetting Bea who seated us, she was lovely too! Thanks guys 😁 we will be back soon.
Had breakfast here 03/10/23, never had breakfast before. Food was very good, waitress and server very curtious and polite. Will definately come again. Well done.
It was absolutely packed, really warm in the restaurant too….I visited with my 3 children and was seated quite quickly. Food was very tasty and enjoyed the cold refillable drinks.
My friend and I go regularly and it's always fabulous food. Great staff very helpful.
