The nicest carvery we have had in a long time, the staff were very friendly and helpful great place
Went yesterday carvery was lovely service was great really relaxing atmosphere.
Obviously when food is standing it may dry a little having read some reviews on here am irritated by the views of some people.
I watched the lads replenish constantly it's a walk-in carvery they can't just throw it away! Come on people be realistic

You are always guaranteed a genuine & friendly welcome at Hall Green. The facilities are always exceptionally clean & well looked after. Staff are always ready with advice regarding allergies/dietary requirements & a short but lovely chat with their customers. I witnessed two customers who wanted to move from their original seating & they were respectfully moved to a more suitable place. Food from the menu was exceptionally tasty & the deck was tidy and clean & full of delicious looking & tasty food.
The roast carvery was excellent. The beef was so tender and tasty. Roasters lovely flavour. Loved the green beans, cabbage, cauliflower and peas. Everything was hot, even the plates. Plenty of crispy yorkshire puds as well. Great friendly staff. We can thoroughly recommend this restaurant in Hall Green.
On one of the hottest days of the year, the place was packed as it was £5 carvery night. The staff worked so hard (especially the guys on the carvery) and all were a credit to the company. Food replenished quickly and very tasty.

Absolutely first class service ... 5 stars for food.. ambiance ... value for money and service. Jamie looked after us and she went above and beyond for us. Excellent service... What a genuinely lovely young lady. She is an asset and a credit to Toby. Thank you Jamie 🤗Xx
Visited to celebrate my late Father's 99th Birthday. My 97 year old Mother, self & sister. No disabled parking space available for Blue badge holder Mother. It was very busy. Sister had to take place in queue with us joining as near to counter as we could as Mother could never have stood for so long. Server was very helpful. Let us into queue (to save us embarrassment) & carried Mother's plate to table for her. However, we would never visit on a Sunday again (too busy & far more expensive than Mon-Sat!!)
I was part of a group of 4 who all enjoyed eating here this evening. The carvery was spot on. Puds (crumble & custard for me) were not quite hitting the spot. There were a couple of decent ales on tap. The place was very busy with a few birthday gatherings.
Siobhan, our waitress, was one of the very best I've come across and I'd steal her if I ran a business.
Carvery was fine. Some veg a little dry & tastless (cabbage & carrots). We had to wait for a carver to come and serve us. Gravy pot was empty so requested it to be refilled apologies made by staff. On the whole though not bad for a fiver each. Staff very polite.
Excellent staff , very friendly and helpful , chef was amazing , friendly and chatty , gave a nice portion of meat , food was all hot and very tasty , it’s actually the best Toby I’ve used , thank you
Food was really nice but I had a cold so I couldn’t taste much (not their fault lol). It was very packed but they still put out fresh food & all the meats were still available despite the rush!!!
Oh our waitress Shanice I think it was she was absolutely amazing with us even when the little one accidentally smashed a glass at the end she made sure we was moved for our safety. We couldn’t apologise enough but she was so friendly & understanding even when we apologised about the mess from the little one.
We did have to wait for our table but that was our fault getting here late as we had to travel from Northfield.
And the manager was so friendly when we asked about breakfast with Santa so we’ve booked it as it’s the best carvery in Birmingham after a bad experience with Kings Norton we’ve fell in love with Carvery’s again lol.
On numerous occasions unfortunately, the cauliflower has been undercooked but overall, our regular visits have been a lovely experience with terrific Staff members offering great Customer Service and altogether an enjoyable, atsompheric time. Will certainly be returning soon. Thank you all!
