This place has great staff and a relaxed vibe. The coffee is made using a Synesso machine, which gets the best out of the bean producing a rich, smooth espresso. They also offer chemex, kalita wave and aeropress. The prices are reasonable and the service great. This is a must visit if you're in the Cathedral area of Birmingham.

I have never been bombarded so much in my life by Six Eight Kafe email news. There is so much going on at this main stay Birmingham coffee drinking establishment: Coffee Tasting Sessions, Barista Sessions, Craft Beer Drinking Sessions (are there any other sessions that I have missed). Recently Not endowed with the brightest of locations, it makes up for it by being cosy, chatty approachable staff and the fine tasting grind of Staffordshire's HasBean coffee (the finest coffee roastery in all of the world IMHO). Six Eight Coffee connects me with my humble Brummie roots and my love of coffee. May you live on and stay inventive.

Great 'Kafe' with lovely staff. Popped in this Thursday afternoon and Luke and Dave looked after us very well. Nice cake, great flapjack and the sausage sandwich sorted out the hangover with ease. Cheers

Apart from the new employee who was learning the skills to become a barista - he left my (well extracted) coffee sitting whilst he stretched the milk, but we all have to learn! - I have nothing but praise. Friendly, knowledgeable staff - good quality and freshly roasted, single origin beans. The coffee was excellent, even if it wasn't made to my exacting demands! Coffee chains!? Pfft! This is where the good stuff is.

Love this place. The coffee is amazing, and the sourdough toast and jam is incredible - I never knew coffee and toast could be so delightful. Lovely atmosphere and layout, and great staff. I always make sure to visit Six Eight Kafe every time I venture to Birmingham, it's not a trip to Birmingham without a flat white from Six Eight Kafe.

This is a great place for a real coffee. I always try and pop in when I am in town. The coffee is flavorful and delicious and goes down well in the well presented interior. Forget the bland chain places, if you want the best coffee in Birmingham this is the place to go.
