Bun & Steak

I visited this restaurant with my family on Friday evening to which I was greeted by Hakeem and Bruce. They showed me and my family nothing but kindness and respect. The food wasn’t an issue however there was a mistake in the order to which they corrected and even replaced. They played a great role of waiters even whilst working under pressure. Thanks to them me and my family were able to enjoy the food.

Ok so it's an amazing place, good was awesome and employees were nice too. It was surprisingly empty which is rather unfortunate because they most definitely serve great food. I would highly recommend going to this place because it doesn't make your wallet cry unlike other places. I had the notorious bun which satisfied my taste buds with the overall texture of the beef patty and the sauces which created this overall wonderful experience in my mouth. Please visit bun and steak because they definitely have good buns (I haven't tried the steak yet).

Highly reccomend this place! I've been here about 4 times now and have been happy with the food and service each time. I've tried both the burgers and steaks and have never been disappointed with the food I order. The nachos are amazing and they kids meal is a very generous size and I like that they provide real meat burgers for children rather than the standard processed chicken nuggets/ fish fingers and chips option. (Edited) 3 years on from when I last reviewed this place I’d like to say I still throughly enjoy eating here and have gone on so many occasions with family and friends who have all also loved this place. Their service is still just as amazing, the staff are friendly and very accommodating. I think the location is great there is always parking near by. You can never go wrong with bun and steak!

One of the first burger joints i visited a few years ago in Birmingham, finally came up on delivery app and had to give it a go. Ordered the Shroom burger with chips, the burger didn't travel well, as you can see in the picture.. It still tasted great tho! I suggest they look at better packaging so the burger stays in shape. I will definitely try to visit in person as this place is one of the OG's 🍔👌

Had some great food tonight. The food was quality. The chicken wings and lamb chops were of a very good quality. You could just tell how good they were from the very first bite. We were served promptly and had food on our table within 25 mins of ordering and it came out piping hot! This place is way better than TruBurger/Rios, patties were thick and juicy. Salads were fresh. Thoroughly impressed. And £8-£11 per bun. For anyone visiting, it’s mainly full of 20-35 year old people. Family friendly and sound waiters. Planning to go back soon to try the steaks!

I love coming here when I visit from London. Their ribs are beautifully cooked and so soft they simply fall off the bone. Sides are nice. The burgers are pretty average, although good quality beef they have more of a five guys quality to them than what you'd expect from a gourmet burger place. But it's not a huge issue as they still taste very good. Highly recommended.
