As a non-drinker: Decent pub, no pub food, has some snacks. Prices seem ok. Some more private rooms and spaces available as well as outdoor parts. Music can get very loud during the evenings, along with the crowd. Area around isn't great to walk to and from at night.

Lots of little rooms around a central bar selling a handful of well kept ales and craft beers. Maybe a little higher priced than average, think 5 to 6 pounds a pint, more city centre price
The Anchor has a great range of beers and cider on draught, as well as a selection of cocktails on the menu. The outside area is great as well as it's covered but you still get some fresh air - plus, the staff are all so lovely!

A cosy little pub right in the middle of city centre.
It is pretty much a nonsense pub with budget friendly drinks and I would highly recommend the 2for 1 cocktails which they offer on certian days .
The pub is pet friendly and the staff are always kind .
