The Anchor - Birmingham - Photo album

Cute pub, just a short walk from The Bullring. Friendly staff, good cocktails, and really fun bar trivia night on Thursdays. They have outdoor seating, a pool table, and some rooms that are more private away from the bar area. There is no kitchen though, so no real food (only small snack bags for
Just had a quick pint of cider before I got a bus. Really nice bar with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Don't hesitate to pay a visit!
As a non-drinker: Decent pub, no pub food, has some snacks. Prices seem ok. Some more private rooms and spaces available as well as outdoor parts. Music can get very loud during the evenings, along with the crowd. Area around isn't great to walk to and from at night.
We stopped off here for a quick drink, and very swiftly fell in love with the place - a lovely welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful decor... and best of all, that rarest of Tayto crisp flavours, PICKLED ONION!!! 🧅 Couple that with a wonderful local cask ale or three, and you've got some happy custo
I've been travelling around the UK for 3 months, this is the best hand pull beer I've had! A random stop but the cracking beer and staff made it worthwhile.
I had the most amazing cup of tea, The Anchor has an amazing and unique atmosphere, That just doesn't happen over night. The staff who all bring their own skills, Alongside the wonderful and amazing customers. And lastly one other thing that is well worth a mention and a visit, Is the wood that surr
Used to visit quite a bit years ago but not been recently. Always loved the Anchor and it's a little different now but still a chilled place, love the little beer garden. Pale Brummie was really refreshing and well kept. Nice staff and friendly gaffer.
Beautiful old pub just 5min walk from city centre and bullring, over the road from digbeth coach station and O2 Institute. Great selection of ales, ciders and cocktails. Music in the pub was excellent. Pool table. Outdoor seating front and back of pub. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
Been a little while since I was in this classic Birmingham Boozer..there are a few still left around Digbeth. Lots of little rooms around a central bar selling a handful of well kept ales and craft beers. Maybe a little higher priced than average, think 5 to 6 pounds a pint, more city centre price
The Anchor has a great range of beers and cider on draught, as well as a selection of cocktails on the menu. The outside area is great as well as it's covered but you still get some fresh air - plus, the staff are all so lovely!
Really lovely pub. We visited just after opening on a quiet mid-day, so were the only customers. Great time to appreciate such a clean, well maintained old pub . Very good choice of beers on handpumps, unusually including several ciders and a perry. Good music choice, and a very nice pool table. Se
Excellent venue with a superb range of beers, ales, wines and cocktails with outstanding customer service
A cosy little pub right in the middle of city centre. It is pretty much a nonsense pub with budget friendly drinks and I would highly recommend the 2for 1 cocktails which they offer on certian days . The pub is pet friendly and the staff are always kind . Worth a visit and would highly recommend .
Didn't order but the decor in the Wardrobe was stunning!!
A great place for having a drink with friends, staff is amazing! Highly recommend the cocktails!
Great local pub. Great drinks choices and fun and quirky atmosphere. Pop in for a quiet pint, or go to one of the many events they put on.
The Anchor Is one of the best pubs period. Between the staff who go the extra mile to keep everyone smiling and safe, to the atmosphere created by an eclectic collection of people, to the exemplary cocktails dreamt up by Charlotte and Lewis, you'll not find a finer place on a Wednesday evening to g
What an awesome little bar. Pool table, beer garden, outside tables. 1700s built (apparently) 1890s kit out. Spot on
