Its a good pub with good beer and cracking music .....only come to digbeth on the coach but had an hour or two to kill and was the best bit of the journey.

The Anchor is a truly hidden gem, great staff and owner... good beers, always been a great pub, but looking and sounding better than ever.

Cute pub, just a short walk from The Bullring. Friendly staff, good cocktails, and really fun bar trivia night on Thursdays. They have outdoor seating, a pool table, and some rooms that are more private away from the bar area. There is no kitchen though, so no real food (only small snack bags for purchase).

Just had a quick pint of cider before I got a bus. Really nice bar with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Don't hesitate to pay a visit!

As a non-drinker: Decent pub, no pub food, has some snacks. Prices seem ok. Some more private rooms and spaces available as well as outdoor parts. Music can get very loud during the evenings, along with the crowd. Area around isn't great to walk to and from at night.

We stopped off here for a quick drink, and very swiftly fell in love with the place - a lovely welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful decor... and best of all, that rarest of Tayto crisp flavours, PICKLED ONION!!! 🧅 Couple that with a wonderful local cask ale or three, and you've got some happy customers!

I've been travelling around the UK for 3 months, this is the best hand pull beer I've had! A random stop but the cracking beer and staff made it worthwhile.

I had the most amazing cup of tea, The Anchor has an amazing and unique atmosphere, That just doesn't happen over night. The staff who all bring their own skills, Alongside the wonderful and amazing customers. And lastly one other thing that is well worth a mention and a visit, Is the wood that surrounds the bar area. Well done to the Anchor in Digbeth ,Birmingham.

Used to visit quite a bit years ago but not been recently. Always loved the Anchor and it's a little different now but still a chilled place, love the little beer garden. Pale Brummie was really refreshing and well kept. Nice staff and friendly gaffer.

Beautiful old pub just 5min walk from city centre and bullring, over the road from digbeth coach station and O2 Institute. Great selection of ales, ciders and cocktails. Music in the pub was excellent. Pool table. Outdoor seating front and back of pub. Staff very welcoming and friendly.

Been a little while since I was in this classic Birmingham Boozer..there are a few still left around Digbeth. Lots of little rooms around a central bar selling a handful of well kept ales and craft beers. Maybe a little higher priced than average, think 5 to 6 pounds a pint, more city centre prices than back street Digbeth. That said, the pub and punters are friendly. There is a pool table in the bar, and you can pick the music by an app. It's handy for the start or end of a night out, and like the handful of pubs left in this end of the city needs lots of thirsty support. Recommended just to enjoy the old fashioned pub vibe but definitely with a modern twist.

The Anchor has a great range of beers and cider on draught, as well as a selection of cocktails on the menu. The outside area is great as well as it's covered but you still get some fresh air - plus, the staff are all so lovely!
