Had trouble finding somewhere for a takeaway. Stumbled on bombarded mix , gave them a call although they found hard to understand my Derbyshire accent . The delivery came in less than 1/2 hour, the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. . Not only that it came with a lovely bottle of wine. . Didn't even tell them it was my birthday... thanks bombay mix for ending my birthday with such a treat ..definitely using again 😊

went here after work with my colleague, and twin, the service was really good the food even better, considering it was 1 am when we arrived, the staff were talkative and happy to help, bar staff friendly and service was quick and effortless, we even got to meet the chef, a really relaxed atmosphere and beautiful food, the decor was simple, clean and comforting, not the best but it was the food that really spoke for itself, as well as the exceptional service. the best madras i have ever had. and my sister who had the chicken tikka, said the chicken was tender and overall a 9/10. will defiantly be going again after work. :)

I've ordered delivery from Bombay Mix several times. The vegetable korma is creamy, sweet, and incredibly delicious. The naan is quite large and very filling. The pizzas are frozen but I don't expect handmade pizza from an Indian take-away. Either way, I still like the pizza and order the same meal each time: Side of veggie korma, cheese, garlic & coriander naan, 9" cheese & tomato pizza, and saffron rice pilau. The quality of their food has remained satisfactory with each order. Tonight is my last night in Birmingham before returning to Canada and if I ever return I will absolutely order this same meal again.

Visit this restaurant for strange experiences, It's an Indian restaurant however feels like they don't expect or want Indian people(Or Subcontinent people) inside. Staff can't be considered to be polite, once you are in you will get constant reminders to place your order, once you have ordered you will be constantly asked if you want something else to order even after your food has arrived. Waiters will just stay there and watch you eat as if waiting for you to finish as quickly as you can and it's a very small place mind you. it's kind of disturbing. Food isn't great either it's just ok. Not recommended.

Gave them a 1.5 on the edible food only. This place has the worst customer service EVER! Once you walk into the restaurant and sit down, the only thing those people want is to get your money asap and kick you out of the restaurant! The waiter keeps coming asking us several times if we are done with eating and we obviously just started 5 minutes ago! Imagine the restaurant is empty and the waiter frequently and randomly walks to your table (ours was at the end of restaurant) stands next to your table and looks at the ceiling (our case looks at the wall behind me! I can't believe!) And does nothing! Its not that he wants to check if he can serve us or anything like (e.g. filling any empty glasses with juice etc. Of course we filled ours)! He just wants to keep reminding you "Quickly finish and leave"! Trust me I'm not exaggerating! I wish I could upload a video here and tell u verbally!! As soon as I finished my food he came and took my plate without asking and looked at my friend who didn't finish yet his food and asked him if he is done when he obviously is still eating!! (He actually extended his arms a bit while asking my friend to remove his plate!) I can't keep writing every little detail of what happened here but it was awful. <br/>We couldn't believe what happened and blamed it all on that waiter and (stupidly enough) we decided some other time to go there again since there are not much halal Indian restaurants in the area and said that if another waiter will serve us it will definitely not be the same service we saw last time. Amazingly and Surprisingly we got almost the same crap service but this time our reactions were different.. Hehe. . We stayed in the restaurant for maybe two hours just chatting just to annoy them even though they brought us the bill but we kept ordering stuff one at a time and I must say they hated us hahaha and then we finished chatting and decided to leave. I filed a complaint and I promised them to write a proper review for their lovely hospitality!

I forsook more expensive and recommended restaurants to go to this one, which was convenient to my hotel in Central Birmingham. And, I was pleasantly surprised. <br/><br/>From the outside it looks like a typical tourist trap with a cheap and cheerful menu of curry staples and the interior decor is nothing special.<br/><br/>But the service was friendly and efficient and I had a pint of Cobra in my hand within about a minute. <br/><br/>I ordered some bhajis, poppadoms, and a chicken jal, which were all first rate and in good portions. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, a variety of regulars were coming in to pick up takeways and chat amiably with the front of house guy, and I had the impression the place was regarded as a reliable local eatery.
