Wonderful Indian Restaurant the food is absolutely excellent, it's hot freshly cooked and extremely tasty. I highly recommend this excellent restaurant. Service and staff extremely warm and welcoming and attentive. I would eat here every Friday and Saturday if I could!!!!!!!

Had a lovely meal on New year's eve with family.
Staff were all polite and friendly.
A bit of renovation seemed to be going on which impacted the state of the restaurant.
But my meal was exceptional

I have been to this restaurant many times, and I enjoy it most of the time. The decor is subtle and pleasant and I absolutely love the way the napkins are folded. There are additions from Indian culture, which are very beautiful. The food is very tasty and presented pleasingly, however it can be a bit salty at times. The waiters are friendly, but on busy days, they can take up to half an hour to collect dishes, ask for food/drinks etc. Generally, I recommend to anyone who wants a nice family dinner or a tasty curry!

A local GEM of a restaurant (and takeaway)! Have been visiting The Spice Exchange regularly for well over a decade and not once have they been a disappointment, either food or service. The staff are very friendly and willing to accept orders for items a little off the regular menu. Food is exceptional, outstanding and very, very high quality. Keep up the excellent standards The Spice Exchange, from a loyal and very happy customer 😀

One of the best curries I've had from anywhere in Birmingham! (and I've had alot) I highly recommend this place... The food was beautiful, fresh and full of flavour, plus the fast delivery is a bonus! Think I've found my new curry house :)

Our favorite Indian takeaway, by far the best round here and seems much healthier less oily than most Indian food. The staff are always friendly and treat the kids to lollipops which is a lovely gesture

The buffet that they have once a month or so was very tasty and had a good selection of dishes. The real star of the show was the dall curry but unfortunately this has to be ordered separately as it is not an option on the buffet.

The food and service is absolutely spot on! Been about 10 times now and never had a bad meal. Friendly staff and a different menu to the usual "chicken tikka masala" places.

Warm welcome on arrival & really unusual authentic menu, with rich flavours.
Check out the Aubergine Cuttry & Butter Chicken.
Don't be put off by the basic decor: the food is fantastic & great value for money.

POOR CUSTOMR SERVICE!!. Awful place - ordered a mild aloo balti (amongst other things) as a takeaway, food arrived and the balti was full of cream and the potatoes were green! Called to complain and was told it was my own fault for asking for the balti to be mild because the only way to make it mild is to use cream (am I being dense or would less spice make it mild?!) . Have had mild baltis in many restaurants and NEVER been given a bowl of cream!so I asked for some other food to be sent out and was told the driver was gone! No apology for horrible green potatoes and I'm left with no dinner despite paying out £20!! disgraceful place.
