What a chippy!! Hands down one of the best around here. I happily drive past 4-5 chippies to go here for a number of reasons. The food is spot on, there's a good variety and things you don't see in a lot of other chip shops and the staff are top of their game, they're so friendly and happy and Anthony is what makes this place, he welcoming and friendly and appreciates everyone who steps through the door. I always used to order through food apps until I went in myself, and will never order from here through the food apps again as going in store is 10x more worth it.

Food is fantastic and matched by the service. Lovely team and wouldn’t go anywhere else now! The chips especially are some of the best in the area and their chicken meat is my favourite thing ever. The shop is a family run business and you can tell the team work well together. Great selection of products including freshly made pizza alongside the traditional chip shop menu. Would 100% recommend, you won’t regret it!

What an absolutely awesome meal! Best takeaway pizzas we have ever eaten in Birmingham and we've tried a lot 🤣 The sourdough base was perfectly cooked- not too thin but not too thick either, just a healthy bit of depth to hold the topping of dreams 😍 The meats are unreal- soft, tasty and seriously delicious, the chicken was my favourite but the other half preferred the mixed. The portion size is huge and there is a tonne of toppings- We could of easily shared one but of course we didn't 🙈 Highly recommend you try it- you won't be disappointed!

I have eaten lots of chips in my 50 years but hands down the best I have ever eaten are at Wychall Fish Bar, the fish is also amazing, fresh, crispy and tasty. I have always had a warm welcome by the staff, friendly, helpful and kind. The family vibe is very lovely and I am more than happy to support a business that exudes quality, not just in how the food is prepared but how it is served. Keep doing what you do, we love it 😉

Honestly can you get a better place ! It’s one of those hole in the wall neighbourhood shops you simply can’t do without and will miss when you’re away. The fish and chips is lovely but the kebabs / doner meat is some of the finest I’ve tasted. They also have an immense range of sauces of all kinds. Their house sauce , aioli and curry are yum yum - some of the best I’ve ever had. The service by every member of staff particularly the owners Anthony and his mum Pam are lovely and very passionate about what they do. The people and prices are both so friendly and they create such an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. You come as customers and leave as family. Definitely recommend <3

It's thickly cut, letting you enjoy each juicy, flavourful bite. The donner meat, often a hit-or-miss at other places, stands out here. Thin yet juicy slices, seasoned with the perfect amount of spices like garlic and chilli, offering a delectable taste without the overpowering aftertaste common in other donners meats. And the pork - it's a revelation for pork enthusiasts. Like the rest, it's tender, and juicy, and adds a wonderful variety to the menu. The Chips: Chips are not just chips at Wychall Fish Bar. I'm a fries over-chips person, but these chips changed my mind. They use high-quality potatoes, cut thick for that ideal crunch on the outside and softness inside. The option to add seasonings like oregano and peri salt elevates them even further. Salads and Service: Fresh salads accompany your meal, enhancing the overall dining experience. And the service? Impeccable. Friendly staff, generous portions, and a clear passion for food and customer satisfaction. Incredible chippy! Delicious chips- prepared and cooked properly. Amazing team that go above and beyond. Been eating here for years, through the pandemic when they altered their practice to accommodate a completely different world, always adding new dishes to their menu, amazing quality and value for money!
