Excellent Indian restaurant with very nice service and excellent food. I got free Indian poppadoms as a tasting. There's even an option to bring your own beer with the meal. I can only recommend!
So nice I went two days in a row with different people! The food was delicious with very generous portions. My Indian friend said the food was very authentic. After the meal they were very happy to give me some boxes to take the rest of the food home
Been coming here for years and years. The food is consistently delicious, the service is outstanding, I cannot recommend the Dilshad team enough… even after moving to Worcestershire we travel 1 hour 20 minute around trip for a takeaway- that says it all! Never change please- just wish you’d open a r
Our family have used this place on occasion over many years. Normally very good food. Really tasty and good value for money. However, a little disappointed this evening. My order was ready but they forgot the chips, so had to wait for chips to be cooked. Only live a few minutes away, curry had gone
First came here as a Fresher 34 years ago. Can only say it's got even better. My Vegetable Balti Sagwalla was exquisite and Sam and the team here are to be highly commended. Very friendly service
This place NEVER GETS OLD!!! This was my 4th trip to Dilshad’s of 2023 (with these beautiful people), and yet again it was perfect. The service? Outstanding. The food? Delectable The restaurant? Aura. If you’ve never been to Dilshad’s, you haven’t lived. GO LIVE!
Hands down best place for curry in selly oak. Always delicious, their chicken tikka and paneer dishes are perfect combination of flavour and spice. The mushroom rice and peshwari naans are perfect. I order via telephone when I can as it is cheaper than going through delivery apps and faster too. Al
Oh Dilshad (Selly Oak) how I have missed you! I haven’t been here for years as I live a few miles away now but I was visiting my husband in at the QE so decided to get one on the way home. What a banging curry. I had onion bhajis, chicken Balti madras and a cheese naan. It was so tasty, a real auth
Best chicken tikka and garlic naan.
Very attentive and friendly. Efficient service and generous portions. Excellent quality balti and very reasonably priced. First time here but will return! Great find.
This is my favourite Indian restaurant, and has been since my mid 20's, fast forward to 29 years later. The interior was very cosy. It was very busy, every chair was taken, with more people queuing. We got excellent service despite them being packed. The food was excellent, my husband said it wasn't
I went to two Indian restaurants in the vicinity of this one. The one I went to first in theory had a higher rating. But the Dishad is by the far the place to go if you appreciate traditional BIR curries. perfect vindaloo, great poppadoms and sauces.
Great place to eat. Sam is a legend. If you're searching for a culinary haven where delectable flavors dance on your palate, look no further than Dilshad, the gem of curry restaurants. Nestled in the heart of the city, Dilshad possesses an enchanting ambiance that instantly transports you to the ar
Nice tasty saag paneer, but doubt I'll have curried falafel again. Good flavours though
Lovely local indian . Staff mutton dish lovely and I dont usually eat lamb options. Bring your own booze though, which keeps the cost down
walked in to a nice cool atmosphere an a sensational smell, we was greeted rather quickly and shown to a table with no fuss even though we never booked in advance, love the rustic feel of the decor. We had the lamb chops , lamb tikka sagwaala and the cheese and garlic naan and egg fried rice all arr
