Excellent Indian restaurant with very nice service and excellent food. I got free Indian poppadoms as a tasting. There's even an option to bring your own beer with the meal. I can only recommend!
So nice I went two days in a row with different people! The food was delicious with very generous portions. My Indian friend said the food was very authentic. After the meal they were very happy to give me some boxes to take the rest of the food home

Our family have used this place on occasion over many years. Normally very good food. Really tasty and good value for money. However, a little disappointed this evening. My order was ready but they forgot the chips, so had to wait for chips to be cooked. Only live a few minutes away, curry had gone
First came here as a Fresher 34 years ago. Can only say it's got even better. My Vegetable Balti Sagwalla was exquisite and Sam and the team here are to be highly commended. Very friendly service

Hands down best place for curry in selly oak. Always delicious, their chicken tikka and paneer dishes are perfect combination of flavour and spice. The mushroom rice and peshwari naans are perfect.

I went to two Indian restaurants in the vicinity of this one. The one I went to first in theory had a higher rating. But the Dishad is by the far the place to go if you appreciate traditional BIR curries. perfect vindaloo, great poppadoms and sauces.
