My visit to Dilshad brought back happy memories from when I was a regular in the late 90s.
The food was superb and the service first class, just as I remembered.
Thank you to the staff and I hope to be back soon.

Been using this restaurant for over 40 years (started from our clubing days), not on a regular basis but a place we always fall back on, we have introduced so many friends and family including the ones from overseas, so in my opinion they are certainly doing something right.
The only criticism I have, is the staff could be a bit more friendly, they are all poker faced......but at the end of the day we go for the food

Outstanding vibes, service was great! Kind and thoughtful staff, speedy service even on a busy night. The food portions were generous especially the naan. A warm rowdy atmosphere, ideal for groups and conversation yet at a comfortable level for pairs too. -Lily

The best Indian restaurant full stop. Its bring your own drinks, the food is outstanding, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is always extremely comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone, even those on a tight budget. Thank you for being excellent!

The overall experience was pleasant. The only major issue was the staff were very straight forward, not very friendly. I get they're busy at work, but there was no conversational tone. Food was really good, but it was quite packed and on the darker side of lighting.

Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. The Pathia Puri starter was delicious and all the other food tasty and good quality. It was very busy on a Friday evening, so goes to show it must be popular! Will definitely be back soon!

Honestly the best Indian restaurant I have been to, was the first time trying Dilshad and it did not disappoint, super yummy and tasty the flavours was so amazing best curry I have had! Will definitely be coming back and they sell chai ❤️ great service would recommend.

After a bit of a hiatus I went back to the dilshad this weekend. I honestly wanted to cry. It was as good as I remembered. Food was excellent. We always said this was the best Indian restaurant we had ever been to. No other place has ever come close to this one for us. We used to be regulars but we moved house the owner remembered us 😭, will try and get here more often. If this place ever went I’d be gutted just a shame selly oak isn’t a haunt for us oldies, keep it up dilshad you are the best!!

Excellent Indian restaurant with very nice service and excellent food. I got free Indian poppadoms as a tasting. There's even an option to bring your own beer with the meal. I can only recommend!
