The best dim sum I’ve had so far in the UK, even better than in London. We ordered 8 dishes and it cost us only 25£ each. The portion was just right, and the filling especially the prawns were hearty. I don’t know what to recommend in particular, but if you look at my photos, you can order them all and won’t be disappointed!
Great service, beautiful decoration, clean toilet!

I queued around 1045am on a sunday , there were quite a lot people queuing before the restaurant start. The deep fried croquette which is made of taro and deep fried savoury croquettes are quite nice! Yet , fried soft noodles is not the one I had in Hong Kong

You can’t go wrong with Peking Duck at a Chinese restaurant. The duck was so juicy and the skin was crispy just the way I like it. Sauteed veggie dishes were too oily and spicy for me so I wouldn’t recommend them. The chicken had an eastern medicine taste to it which I did not care for. The tea was amazing after a cold day in Birmingham though!

Firm favourite for locals and visitors to the Birmingham's Chinatown. Being on the first floor not only gives guests an elevated view of the Bull Ring area but also a bit of exercise to burn off some calories.
Authentic Cantonese cuisine and very reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised to see the bill after enjoying multiple traditional dim sum dishes, the bill was less than £25 between two of us. The same amount of food would have been well over £30 per head in London or most Chinese restaurants on the south coast.

Great dim sum restaurant in the middle of Birmingham, reasonable prices for good and authentic food. The waiters can sometimes be too busy but the experience is good during off-peak times. Also note that some dishes are unavailable on Thursday and Friday since the dim sum chef is away

Very authentic Cantonese food.
We ordered the set menu for four people, the food was well prepared and fast.
I've been here for dim sum too and everything is fresh and delicious. I'd recommend coming here for a more authentic dim sum/dinner situation if you want to try traditional Cantonese food :)

Loved the experience… the flavours were great and the food was amazing! Totally would recommend going to this place if you are in Birmingham! To be fair although I took the safest option and tried out the ones that I had an idea of, there are a variety of other choices you could try!!! The aesthetic and the vibes of the place are great too!

One of the best dim sum restaurants in the Uk. Authentic dim sums with great flavours and variety. However, the fried dim sums are not available on Thursdays and Fridays . Service was good and speedy. Overall great experience.

Very spacious dining area and their menu comes in English and Cantonese plus the staff spoke both languages. Food was delicious and gave a very friendly vibe. Would highly recommend this place to get the authentic dim sum experience.

Authentic Canton food. If you want to Yum Cha with a reasonable price in Birmingham, China Court will be a wise choice.

Particularly nice dishes cooked fresh. Fillet Steak was actually steak. The portions are generous (one main each is plenty) all in all Good food and good service. Some may find it expensive but for the quality and service and setting it’s worth it. Highly recommend

A great place to have exceptional Chinese food. To taste the best choose from the Chinese menu. I would not choose Cantonese classics but would go with adventurous and exotic dishes which are not common in run-of-the-mill Chinese buffets. the price is above average but the value for money is great since you get a lot of food for the money.

By far one of the best Chinese restaurants around. Seriously authentic. Excellent and genuine customer service with Cantonese and English spoken amongst the team. Food quality and speed of service is impeccable.
The food is what makes China Court really standout. The range of flavours and textures cooked in to every dish makes you want to work your way through the menu. The roast meats are always so succulent and vegetables are cooked perfectly.
If visiting Birmingham's China Town (or Brum city centre as a whole really) head to China Court for some Dim Sum lunch or heir dinner menu later in the night.

The decor needs sorting (But I suppose it's current state is its charm). The toilet needs seriously sorting cause I felt I was in a cleaning cupboard.
The lady that served us was so lovely and friendly and well spoken English for a Chinese lady.
The food was amazing coudlnt fault it. Filled me up for the whole day and of course the noodles were sssssooooo gggoood and I got loads of king prawn for the great value for money.
Would recommend

My friend Lai-Yin took me for Dim Sum. It was the first time I had tried it and I really enjoyed it.
There was a great selection, all competitively priced. The Service was very fast and efficient.
The Dim Sum themselves tasted really nice, made with good fresh ingredients.
I also liked the decor and space inside the restaurant and would definitely recommend it for an authentic Chinese experience!

Dine there once every couple of months for the last 15 years. Changed management three times and the food and service still first class. Love to treat friends and family there. Never fail to impress :=))

We were greeted & seated quickly the restaurant was busy. Drinks came we ordered dim sum platter. 35 mins before it came out. Plates cleared quickly. 65 minutes later no main. The Chinese people in there were being served first. 70 mins my partner complained. Told 5 more mins. We had a train to catch. Still no food so we got up and walked out as did the table behind us. Very poor

The restaurant was lovely inside. The quality of the dim sum was great and a huge choice from menu to choose from 😊

Poor service. Waited almost 2 hours for the main course. I left before the main course and they told me the food was now being cooked. Bad management because they were very busy and they only had around 4 staff. One of the staff kept clearing tables to sit new customers while the ones already there were waiting like us. They should serve everybody first before sitting new customers.

Malcolm Ross
Fantastic, friendly service, not rushed, superb food, will go again.

Food is always good. Very nice dim sum! As for the service, its a traditional Chinese restauant where the waiters are there to serve meals quicly and efficiently which they do!!
Alessandro Agnoni
Best dim sum in Birmingham! I come here all the time.
Kathryn Teideman
Went here last night and both myself and husband loved it. Big portions, really tasty and very polite staff. If ever we are in Birmingham again it will be a dead cert that we will be coming back for more scummy food! Thank you!

What is going on with this place? Two years ago when I came,
this place was pack with customers. Dinner time and no customers. The first
instant I step into this restaurant with my wife, my wife was worried and
wanted to go to another restaurant. But since we are inside, it look bad to
turn around and leave. That day was our marriage anniversary, and I am supposed
to bring her to a good place. My wife wasn't very happy and still complaining
because the food and services ruin our day. I don’t want to say too much, but I
will never go to this place again.
