Food was very good staff very friendly service was excellent they even have a cake 🍰 shop downstairs!! Definitely recommend a trip to this restaurant x
The decor needs sorting (But I suppose it's current state is its charm). The toilet needs seriously sorting cause I felt I was in a cleaning cupboard.
The lady that served us was so lovely and friendly and well spoken English for a Chinese lady.
The food was amazing coudlnt fault it. Filled me up for the whole day and of course the noodles were sssssooooo gggoood and I got loads of king prawn for the great value for money.
Would recommend
The best dim sum I’ve had so far in the UK, even better than in London. We ordered 8 dishes and it cost us only 25£ each. The portion was just right, and the filling especially the prawns were hearty. I don’t know what to recommend in particular, but if you look at my photos, you can order them all and won’t be disappointed!
Great service, beautiful decoration, clean toilet!
I queued around 1045am on a sunday , there were quite a lot people queuing before the restaurant start. The deep fried croquette which is made of taro and deep fried savoury croquettes are quite nice! Yet , fried soft noodles is not the one I had in Hong Kong
You can’t go wrong with Peking Duck at a Chinese restaurant. The duck was so juicy and the skin was crispy just the way I like it. Sauteed veggie dishes were too oily and spicy for me so I wouldn’t recommend them. The chicken had an eastern medicine taste to it which I did not care for. The tea was amazing after a cold day in Birmingham though!
Firm favourite for locals and visitors to the Birmingham's Chinatown. Being on the first floor not only gives guests an elevated view of the Bull Ring area but also a bit of exercise to burn off some calories.
Authentic Cantonese cuisine and very reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised to see the bill after enjoying multiple traditional dim sum dishes, the bill was less than £25 between two of us. The same amount of food would have been well over £30 per head in London or most Chinese restaurants on the south coast.
located in city centre
very easy to access to yummy Chinese Dim sum
lots of common food variety option
very satisfying
Great dim sum restaurant in the middle of Birmingham, reasonable prices for good and authentic food. The waiters can sometimes be too busy but the experience is good during off-peak times. Also note that some dishes are unavailable on Thursday and Friday since the dim sum chef is away
Food was very very tasty and staff were very friendly!!! Food also didnt take too long to come out despite them obviously being quite busy :D
Very authentic Cantonese food.
We ordered the set menu for four people, the food was well prepared and fast.
I've been here for dim sum too and everything is fresh and delicious. I'd recommend coming here for a more authentic dim sum/dinner situation if you want to try traditional Cantonese food :)
Loved the experience… the flavours were great and the food was amazing! Totally would recommend going to this place if you are in Birmingham! To be fair although I took the safest option and tried out the ones that I had an idea of, there are a variety of other choices you could try!!! The aesthetic and the vibes of the place are great too!
One of the best dim sum restaurants in the Uk. Authentic dim sums with great flavours and variety. However, the fried dim sums are not available on Thursdays and Fridays . Service was good and speedy. Overall great experience.
