I had a really nice lunch here. One of the best food court meals I have had. The samosa was nice as was the butter chicken. A nice effort on the part of the restaurant was unsweetened chai. Nice thought for diabetics. Service was prompt and pleasant.
Friendly service and a good choice of vegetarian dishes. Perhaps a bit pricey for the size of meals
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I arrived when it wasn't busy and I was in a hurry to catch a coach, but luckily my meal arrived in about 5 minutes. I ordered vegan chickpea curry and it was delicious. The portions are not huge, but they are filling and very fairly priced.
Very delicious food experienced today. The gentleman serving us was very polite and warm. His service was spot on. The chef made brilliant stuff and quick service.Especially my son liked it and will definitely recommend. We enjoyed samosa chaat last week which made us to come back today . Great!
Me and my friend went here for a catch up and girlie night and the customer service we received from the manager Lee was amazing. Real genuine down to earth guy, you don’t find many people like this, everyone is too busy trying to be a 5 star robot and do everything by the book.
We had personalised cocktails and great food. Can’t wait to visit again.
We went to Selfridges yesterday after work and went
1st time to the Indian Ooty restaurant- in Selfridges-Bham. I am use to Oxford Street Street Indian Food Kitchen. ( I was looking for Roti-Wala-apparently closed Sept) But Ooty’s food beats Roti-Wala’s
The service was great although while we were leaving place got packed, and they could of done with few more waitresses- if you go early evening very good
service and not long to wait for food. The waitress were both very helpful and we ordered the Chicken Briyani, my husband went for lamb- curry which comes with rice. Starter popadums with mango chutney was fabulous, the cheapest starter value for money, lamb samosas were tasty, little pricey for small portion of 2, mango-lassi magnificent, but very
small amount 500mls or smaller for £3.75pence.
I had Diet Coke with slice of lemon.
My husband didn’t enjoy the lamb-curry but filling and
substantial amount all our order, was filling we were full and right amount for both of us, evening meal.
But my favourite was the “ Lamb Briyani “ this place serves authentic and delicious chicken Briyani than anywhere I have eaten, I am meat/lamb person but ooty has sold me with wonderful delicious Chicken Briyani- this place really have superb chef.
I would have given 5-stars, only lamb curry & sauce was like “Heinz” tomatoe soup, No taste very bland.
Thank you Ooty waitress listening to me and giving me lovely green-chilles delicately sliced & ice water.
We will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you
Wow just eaten at Ooty Station, food was excellent, wait wasnt too long. Would recommend to anyone who likes indian cuisine. Jordan and Amina where exemplary along with the manager who were super friendly which made the experience a whole lot nicer. Will definitely be coming here again next time we're in Birmingham. It is situated in Selfridges on level 1.
Shocking.....
I was shocked to how good the food was, exemplary service from the waiter he knew his stuff...
But then it arrived the food... Every morsel was devoured hoping it not to end.
Definitely worth the Tag
Hope you all the best
Sohail
Some of the best food i've ever tasted! Great vegetarian and vegan options too. Staff are very attentive and friendly :) wish was closer to home.
Great Indian street food in the Bull Ring, Selfridges, the girls that were taking the orders and waiting on were delightfully pleasant and the resteraunt is very well laid out for social distancing, I will definitely be paying another visit.
