I went to café 55 for both eating in and taking away. Their service is efficient and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a good place to chill and do work in the afternoon break, the staff even let me use the plug to charge my computer exceptionally. thanks so much

A new place to dine in Selly Oak, YES PLEASE! Live in Selly Oak and this place is most welcomed, especially since it serves some really tasty dishes. Plenty of oriental dishes to choose from (try the decadent and rich fois gras rice, WOW), plus desserts and drinks. No longer do I need to go all the way to the city centre for a good Chinese meal now that this place has opened. Oh, and they have bubble tea :)

The place is amazing with a great atmosphere and top-notch service. Visited the place on a few occasions now, and every time, I am surprised at how good the food taste in there. My personal favourite is beef brisket ramen with sweet potato glass noodles. If you have a chance you should pay a visit and try it for yourself - a mix of magic and taste. The chef is a true magician and surely will be back for more.

Ordered food from here, food arrived absolutely pristine with gorgeous presentation. I got the pan fried vegetable gyoza and the pmpkin katsu it was absolutely to die for. Love the wide variety of veggie options and portion sizes were generous. 10/10 would recommend and will be ordering from here again. 😊😊

Amazing food, service and drink. All our different meals were delicious. We went for my son’s birthday and had a great time. We’ll definitely be returning.

Really quick service food was ordered and arrived in 10 minutes! Extremely tasty food and very generous portions! Can be a bit pricey if you're a student but definitely one of the best places to eat on the high street!

The Tawainese Beef Noodle Soup is amazing, the beef broth & thick noodles really make the dish! Only complaint is there's a lot of fat & gristle left in. The Tom Yum soup & Salt and Pepper Tofu is really good! I'd stay away from the Salt & Pepper Chips (tasted like socks) and the Curries since they have little sauce & lots of rice. The Miso Soup is quite bland & so is the tteobokki (plus small size for price, but it is a starter). The bubble tea is the cheapest on the street & fine (sweet, tapioca balls incl, not much flavour). The student discount makes the price worth it, would recommend.
