The lady behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming. The pub was decorated nicely (mix of Halloween and Christmas). The burgers we had were nice. The kids meals were also fine. The chicken dipper were incredibly crispy- perhaps over cooked or just cheaper quality dippers? Puddings were also fine for the price. Good value meal but not necessarily the cream of the crop.

Food came out fast and was really good. Staff are super friendly and the place has such a good atmosphere to grab some food and a couple drinks.

Really enjoyed the food and the menu here, loads of vegan options plenty of parking in a great location, it did lack natural lighting inside. Definitely worth a visit

I’d booked for 8, and when we arrived there were only 7 chairs but we just took an extra chair from another table as it was an empty area. It was an easy process to order food with a good variety on the menu. As it was quiet, I ordered at the bar but the option to order at the table was there too. We all had a variety of meals & there were no complaints about them. All the food was cooked well, tasted lovely & good portion sizes all round. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in with a welcome and a smile. They showed us to our table that we booked. We then went to the bar ordered our drinks then our food. The food came out quite quickly and the food was great. The portions were a good size and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and willing to help.

I booked a table for my work leaver's meal and the staff were really helpful and the booking process was straightforward. Food was brought to the table together and was delicious. We all had a lovely evening thank you so much to all the staff!

Sadly due to a menu change over, we didn't eat at the Oak yesterday! The staff were incredibly nice about it, explaining why the meals we were looking forward to were not available & allowing us to take a seat to decide whether to stay or go somewhere else! We did go somewhere else but we've been before to the Oak & are still looking forward to our Christmas day meal.

We celebrate our anniversary at Oak Tree. The is the first time of visit. The food is good and the manager offers us the celebration plate. We really appreciated it. And we enjoyed it so much.

Booked a table for next my husband daughter and mom as it was our anniversary. Food was lovely and hot. Yorkshire pudding was a tad overcooked but all in all very nice.

Outstanding experience every visit. On this occasion we visited on 14/02/22 and was greeted in a great and friendly manner, instructed of the menus and specials etc as well as available seating. We ordered some starters (3 for £12 on starters was a fantastic offer!). We then ordered mains - I had the pizza and my partner had the mega chilli cheese burger, we both ordered sides of the special mozzarella dough balls and a side of inferno sauce for dipping. The pizza was delicious and the perfect thickness - soft but still with a slight crisp! My partners burger was insane - stacked up high, definitely worth every penny. The mozarella dough balls were my absolute favourite - they were on the specials menu and tasted fresh and homemade. We were absolutely stuffed after all the food so we did take some of the dough balls home which made for a lovely treat the next afternoon! The service was incredible and couldn't fault it. There was a young lad working on the bar (I think his first shift) and he was fantastic. Really polite and friendly! Will be returning again 😊
